Mickey Rooney, who spent nearly his entire life in show business, died today. He was 93.
Rooney had been in ill health for quite some time. We're told death was attributed to natural causes.
He was one of the most famous child actors in entertainment history. He played the role of Andy Hardy in "The Hardy Boys" in 20 films.
I enjoyed his works. His life was well spent in the show business.
Goodnight, sweet prince

In all seriousness, though, great actor. Will be missed.
Mickey Rooney and John Pinette in the same day
The rule of threes is working quickly this time around
Hard pressed to ever live a more enjoyable, fuller life than he had. Shame he's gone but for anyone to make it 93 is impressive, let alone someone with the major successes he had. Sure, he was basically the poster-child for not trasitioning from child-stardom to adulthood stardom, but still.
At the peak of his fame, Rooney met President Roosevelt in the White House and auto magnate Henry Ford in Dearborn, Mich.
I mean holy fuck that itself would be enough for me.

WHAT
This is so sad to hear. Mickey Rooney has been such an inspiration for me. I've seen so many of his major roles, but one smaller one always sticks out to me - a little-known disney film named Phantom of the Megaplex. His monologue about "magic at the movies" is what got me so interested in the film industry, and one of the major reasons why I've been working at a movie theatre for the past six years.

You'll be missed so much.
Wow, he was married like seven times.
Good-bye childhood santa. I'll always remember ABC Family christmas specials and how to put one foot in front of the other. Very sad to see him go
holy shit i thought the title was "mitt romney dies at 93"
He lived a good life and had a good innings but still a damn shame to hear.
It is amazing to think that he began acting in 1926 and was still acting in 2014. Has anyone else had such a long career in show business?
