The only reason to ever get a headset over headphones and a clip-on mic IMO is wireless, and the only wireless headset I've ever owned that was quality in every aspect is the one in the thumbnail, the steelseries h wireless, which is very expensive. Wireless headsets is a niche that most people on FP aren't interested in so I doubt this will be relevant but no matter what do not buy the G930. It's probably the worst designed product I've ever used from a tech company, if I owned a retailer I don't think I could ethically justify selling it.

What's the matter, don't you like spinning a dial then mashing the play button over and over again just to change the volume?

People will probably think you're joking if they don't know how badly logitech fucked it on this :v:
I really liked my G930s but the microphone arm broke after two years so yeah, don't buy.
the g430 is pretty good sound-wise (then again i'm not too versed in audio stuff) but the build quality is absolute junk
i'm on my 3rd pair, the first two were sent in and replaced via logitech's warranty because the bits that hold the earpieces shattered :v:
What's the opinion on the "Steelseries Siberia 200" & "Corsair Void RGB"?
I had Steelseries Sibera v1 and v2 and I loved them both, both are great quality headsets on a medium budget.
If Corsair treats their headsets with the same care and quality as they do their keyboards, they're probably great. Never used them though and never heard of them before, but Corsair is usually synonymous with quality.

They are extremely uncomfortable. Long sessions had my ears sore.

I've had the opposite experience. Almost every other headset I've tried (granted, that's only like 4) was uncomfortable after like 30 minutes, but I can keep my Siberia 200 on for hours without problems.

My wireless corsair vengeance 2100 is pretty high quality in terms of audio, and I love being able to walk around and do shit while I wear them, but don't expect too high quality from the microphone. It's average/slightly above average.
Steelseries siberia has pretty bad audio quality.
I can't emphasize this enough. I used those at a LAN and they were so bad, the audio sounded like it was in another room.
Audio Technica AUD ATHAD500X and an actual microphone is all I need bitches
The SteelSeries Siberia 800's are good, I've had mine for over a year and I can't recommend them enough if you have the money. The Fact that they give you 2 batteries you can swap at any time, makes them better then any other wireless headset in my book.
I want to get me a pair of ATH ws1100is, hm hm
"Gaming" and "headset" in a single phrase is oxymoron.
