• Photoshop CS6 is being... EVIL

Ello. So, I've had Photoshop CS6 for a week now and I've been working on this very simple picture. The only issue with this picture is that it has a LOT of layers: layer count is nearing 300. But lately, the program has been running very slow when I work on this specific image. I'll make a change to the image, or even just select a specific layer, and the program will take at least a minute to load up the change. Now the more interesting part about this is that when I take the same exact file and open it up on Photoshop CS2, the program runs lightning fast. But that's on CS2. And on CS6 it runs slow. CS2 is old. Why is this happening? Please tell me.
You should probably hide a bunch of layers that you don't need. It's possible that CS6 is being a RAM hog compared to CS2.
Ah, this is true. CS6 is hogging up half my ram...
Make sure you have the latest updates for Photoshop, they could contain performance improvements
