Looking to buy a new smartphone, T-Mobile Sidekicks are pretty retarded. Nokia E63 looks pretty good (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875205157) anything I need to know about it, or if any phone is better? Budget is anything below $250. Also, I have an Unlimited Data Plan from T-Mobile, so should I have to get a new one for the E63, or is it fine?
Go to a tmobile store they will have better deals than unlocked ones.
You can try to find a g1. Those are fantastic phones.
T-mobile Pulse (Huawei U8220) Currently running Android 1.5 but is getting an upgrade to 2.1 this summer. It's £140 on PayG on T-mobile's website. [editline]03:31PM[/editline] Not sure about availability in MMMMMMERICA though.
Droid, sexy and full keyboard, BTW don't get get the Pulse, it will get 2.1 in the summer while droid and others get 2.2 in the summer.
E63 is a great phone.
HTC Legend
Hold out a few months and get the Samsung Galaxy S, sure it's an iPhone clone, but it will be the best Android phone out there for a long time, dual cameras, a 1GHz processor that is faster than the snapdragon in the Nexus One, EVO 4G, etc, and many more good things. Should be under your budget if you buy with a contract. And it's coming to T-Mobile
The desire, the legend, the tattoo? Those would be listed in fairly expensive, somewhat decent and dirt cheap categories of the same OS. I have had a Droid phone for two weeks now, and I keep finding new shit I love about it. Why those 3 Droid phones? Because HTC is the only distributor that has made properly working Droid phones, and because they alle run Droid 2.1 ecláir. (cept the tattoo, but it should get an update in a matter of weeks) [editline]10:49AM[/editline]
And when is the last time you ever used two cameras?
I would like to buy the HTC Desire is it any good?
Two Q's for this one, when was the last time samsung made a phone that doesn't closely resemble a cheap plastic toy? And dual cameras really isn't that useful unless you have friends that also have dual camera phones, or you like to take self photos all the time :)
HTC HD2, its a lot better than you think!
HTC HD2, its a lot better than you think!
Android is literally 10000000x better than Windows Mobile, even Windows Mobile 7.
I would say go for HTC G1/Dream. You can get it very, very cheap. Sure, it's old, but the community is strong. Developers are already working on Android 2.2 for it and fully functional Android 2.1 is already out for it, not official, but fast and stable as hell.

At Sprint, I got my Palm Pixi for free.
