Hello. I know that Media Center records constantly while watching tv, so you can rewind and pause and all that. My question is, where is that video file stored?
WaitWaitWait, does that mean I can use my Xbox to record from the TV?? My god I should have thought of this earlier.
Uh no, you need to have a TV tuner in your computer...
Anyone? I just want to have Media Center record to my network drive :saddowns:

Yeah...
Its in whatever file your Recorded TV file is. By default, I believe its in the Videos file. You can tell WMC to use a different drive though. EDIT: This is a week old DAMMIT.
You can't tell it to use a network drive, which is fucking stupid. I found the folder where the videos are recorded to, then I made a symbolic link to the network drive but then WMC went apeshit and the service crashed every time you tried to run it. Sigh.
