We all knew it sucked, how is this thread worthy?
It's a biopic about a 16-year-old, how was that ever going to work
1. log into IMDB using facebook 2. rate 1 3. look :smug:
Justin Bieber is a homo who got popular by accident, not on purpose. if it wasn't for that producer man accidentally clicking the link to his Youtube video, he'd still be a regular child.
It's a biopic about a 16-year-old, how was that ever going to work
A sixteen year old pop star that has been famous for about 2-3 years. Yup definitely someone who needs to be archived in film.

Isn't that usually how things work?
:argh: Bloody film
Someone must have gotten /b/ on this.
Kazaam fucking rocked. :v:

im going to see it later this week
He had ambition, got his stuff out there, gets noticed. Isn't that usually how things work?
Normally, you need some talent first.
Normally, you need some talent first.
sadly that is not the case in this day in age, look at Kesha or 90% of rap artists, 0 talent right there but they make millions for some goddamn reason
this sucks
Justin seems to like surrounding himself with big, black, muscular men.
I'd love to turn back time and kill Bieber before he became famous.
wow you hate him that much dont you? he must of wrecked your life, i feel sorry for you
sadly that is not the case in this day in age, look at Kesha or 90% of rap artists, 0 talent right there but they make millions for some goddamn reason
Exactly. You know what it is? Advertising. Some basic research will show that the main correlating factor for "popular" is "amount spent on advertising". Seriously. If you advertise something enough, it becomes popular. Sadly, this isn't even limited to music: Books: Twilight Movies: (any interchangeable, identical "romantic comedy") Music: Almost the entire rap genre, the entire pop genre Games: Halo (particularly 3 and later), Call of Duty (fun fact: Modern Warfare 2 had a bigger advertising budget than a development budget)
Someone must have gotten /b/ on this.
Aw dude yeah dude must've been /b/ dude
Games: Halo (particularly 3 and later)
I'm not really a halo fan (I don't even own a TV :v:) and I found the games fun, even Reach.
Normally, you need some talent first.
He plays 3 different instruments. Really well.
I'm not really a halo fan (I don't even own a TV :v:) and I found the games fun, even Reach.
Halo is actually a pretty OK game series, it's just nowhere near as good as all the fans make it out to be. Most importantly, Bungie has gotten steadily worse at making games - Marathon 2 was a far superior game to Halo in every way except graphics and music. Story? Better. Gameplay? Better. Level design? Less repetitive, and better. I just used Halo as an example since it's really only as popular as it is because it's advertised so fucking much. Give it the ad budget of any other game, and it would be considered "pretty good", not "best fucking game of all TIIIIIIIIME!!1".
Music: Almost the entire rap genre
Not really. There are tons of "underground" rap music that strain away from recent trends.
who cares this isn't fucking news
He plays 3 different instruments. Really well.
:airquote:
you people are more obsessed with this guy than the fans that you make fun of
who cares this isn't fucking news
Good thing this isn't the news section then.
:airquote:
who cares. why do you care. why are you posting. i cannot begin to fathom why anyone could care
Good thing this isn't the news section then.
i know that, it shouldn't be relevant either way. this isn't anything noteworthy or conductive to good discourse or anything
who cares this isn't fucking news
Did I post this in "In The News"? No, this is the "Film and Television" discussion forum. This is a film. Figure it out.
I'd love to turn back time and kill Bieber before he became famous.
I'd love to turn back time and actually not give a shit and do something useful instead.
