• Christmas cock-up, need a little help

So my mom's gone out and bought me the ipod touch 4G 8gb to open on christmas, however I realized I could give her the money I have at the moment to get the 32gb. I think she bought it from argos, and there's a few things I'm wondering: Do argos accept returns for full cashback if it's an exchange for a different item (unopened) If so, are there limits on what the item is and is there a fee and how do I convince her to accept the money and return it? She says "not talking about it" whenever I ask her anything to do with the matter. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] ?
dude dont be ungrateful buy a nice haircut
It's not that, I just need the space and I've recently sold a few games and it turns out the christmas shopping's been done. Dumb Dumb x 1 * kingliam1221 disagreeing with you doesn't constitute a dumb it constitutes a disagree also wat
Providing it is unopened, you have kept the receipt and you return it within 28 days, they should give you the money back.
okay, what about the talking problem?
Just try and talk to her about it when she isn't doing anything, bring it up in conversation. The more and more you bring it up the more likely she won't talk to you about it though.
Also make sure so your mom isn't offended by the fact that you want to "change" your present, and thinks that you're ungrateful or something like that.
Jesus christ it's 20th November and you're already returning unwanted Christmas presents
This is what I did. Just don't open it, and take it back soon.
If it doesn't work, I don't mind, just I keep hearing about the 8GB filling up quickly, and she did the shopping earlier than most years. Why wouldn't she want to talk about it, even if to permanently say no?
have you actually seen the iPod? 'cause there's a *tiny* chance she did actually get you the 32GB hence why she doesn't want to talk about it. unlikely but possible.
have you actually seen the iPod?
