• Filesmelt Array, Steam doesn't connect and FP is slow
    5 replies, posted
I decided to combine my problems into one thread. I've been having this problem when I upload this one image, it works on other sites but not filesmelt which I prefer. It just says Array instead of the link, I tried resizing it, renaming it since it worked liked that before but it didn't work and I tried uploading in parts (Two Images) but nothing worked. Steam doesn't start up, it says that the steam server are busy but it loads up now and then. And FP is slow when making a new post.
You could try changing your default DNS. Go to the Network and Sharing Center, then Change Adapter Settings, right click your connection > Properties, the select IPv4, and properties again, then change the default DNS Gateway to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary to 8.8.4.4 - That's Google's DNS. -- Otherwise, yeah, Facepunch has been pretty slow to post in for me recently. Filesmelt also does that Array error sometimes, might be due to files being too big? - And Steam's servers have been on and off the last few weeks. Changing your DNS should see a improvement of speeds online anyway, though.
Filesmelt is working again but the rest still doesn't work, also if I change my DNS won't that effect my consoles? [editline]16th July 2013[/editline] I fixed another problem which I didn't bother to mention, pivot 4 didn't launch and it was language locale, just mentioning if anyone else had this problem.
No. If they're bridged to the internet through your PC, it's fine, if that's what you're talking about.
I tried the DNS stuff, it didn't work with steam or facepunch.
The slow connection with Facepunch couldn't be at your side. Lately some pissed off children have been DDoSing the damn servers, probably because they didn't get a Rust key. Little scumbags ruining my daily check on FP. Goddamn.
