I really hope VR will create new developments in video compression and vice-versa. For me, In-home streaming and moonlight were a big wakeup call as to the state of these technologies in gaming - and that's H264 that's more than a decade old - imagine what the next thing after h265 can do with hardware acceleration.
Man, wire-free VR is going to be so superior to current options.
Not a fan of wireless shit, but if it's done right with no lag I'm game.
