Discuss comic books and related games or movies, but don't stray too far away from the comics! Please tell your comic book history, which titles you like to collect, and post pics of your prized issues. I've always been interested in comic books since I was a pre-teen, but my collection really kicked off once I got a job (earned the funds to afford them). Ebay is my favorite place to purchase comics from. I mostly collect Superman and Batman titles. Below are some scans of my prized issues: This is the first issue of a six part series that explains some of the post-crisis Superman mythology An ancillary four part series to The Man of Steel, The World of Krypton made my eyes water a bit as it is a tragic tale First issues of McFarlane's Spiderman. Really cool because of the striking cover art Second issue of McFarlane's Spiderman. Really neat because of the autograph First issue of Astro City, signed by Kurt Busiek. Cover art by Alex Ross, my favorite comic book artist. replace "\n\n\n" with "\n". Common Mistake.
I have always wanted to collect comic books but never really had the money or motivation to go out and do it. I admire those who do, though.
I enjoy comics, though I haven't actually read many. I've read Scott Pilgrim, Lost at Sea, Watchmen and V For Vendetta. I really want to read Persepolis.
I love comics, i haven't read so many myself, but i love batman comics and deadpool comic. The last comic i read was the killing joke a week ago.

I'd like to read some Ken Parker but can't find it anywhere..
I've got Donald Ducks from 3 years ago laying in a crate at the foot of my bed. I still read the new one every week.
My boyfriend has a lot of comics. He got them from his uncle, so he has some Superman comics from 1979 and such stuff. And he has a few Beavis & Butthead ones.
Sandman anyone?
Every now and then when I visit the local library, I stop by the graphic novels section. Mostly I've become interested in the Crossgen comics, they seem pretty interesting. I like the character designs, too. Also found this little gem recently, and enjoyed it greatly.
Only comic I used to read as a kid was Asterix. I would go too the library and always take out a Asterix comic.
I'm considering buying the darkness compendium edition volume 1 as i've seriously enjoyed the game, But i don't know how good the comic is and it costs almost 70$. Anyone recommend it?
