MAD MAGAZINE is an animated sketch-comedy series produced by Warner Bros. Animation that uses the iconic MAD Magazine, published by DC Comics, as inspiration. Expect a chaotic mix of animation styles and twisted humor to pull back the curtain and expose the truth behind movies, TV shows, games, pop culture and, of course, curtains. [img_thumb]http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/files/2010/04/mad-poster.jpg[/img_thumb] “You can expect to see some familiar faces on screen and big names behind the scenes,” said Diane Nelson, President of DC Entertainment. “The show will unleash MAD’s irreverent take on pop culture and today’s headlines, and feature classic characters including Alfred E. Neuman and Spy Vs. Spy. Our partners at Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network are helping DC Entertainment revitalize the cherished MAD brand across all media.” [sp]Yes facepunch, this is really happening.[/sp]
I've been a fan of Cracked for a while and I've always wished I was old enough to have gotten into Mad. Nice to see them reinventing the franchise for a new generation.
Yeah, but its going to be pretty bad.
Looks to be more of the same for CN's shitty standards.
This looks horrible.
I'm hoping this doesn't end up being as terrible as I expect it to be. I don't think it's easy to translate a magazine into a television show.
I wasn't really old enough to appreciate MAD, but wasn't its major appeal more adult oriented?
We are gonna see some Spy vs. Spy, sweet
Yeah, pretty nice, in my opinion.
When I first saw this, I was like "Hmmmm, I dont remember leaving the channel on comedy central..." To my disappointment, it wasnt.Good god CN, you have hit a new low.
MAD magazine sucks.
MAD's dying, and this is it's last stance
MAD's dying, and this is it's last stance
They should go the way of Cracked and post amusing and interesting articles on their website to keep on going.
please don't ruin spy vs spy please don't ruin spy vs spy please don't ruin spy vs spy they're going to ruin spy vs spy aren't they
Thanks to the title, I thought you were talking about this guy: http://madtoydesign.com/ who is actually going to be doing some design work for CN in the future.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be terrible. I never read MAD Magazine, so I can't really judge yet.

Good God, those puns suck.
I liked how they used at the start cut outs like in the 90's but really it doesn't look that funny. Animation looks retroish, so CN wins there.
From the commercial I recently saw on CN,it doesn't look half bad.
Transboremores. :frog:
Ugh. At least we get some spy vs spy.
This will either be awsome or epic fail, i'll just wait and see
