maybe this time they will have an actual story mode that isnt just a tacked on run through of all the maps with the characters yelling at each other on your screen
I wonder if they'll continue using Source.
Maybe they're working with Source 2? Or maybe they're switching to UE4.

I think there would be huge grounds for improvement if they used UE4, Source 2 doesn't seem too impressive for a game of this magnitude, the animations seem to static for something that demands fluid transitions between jumping on walls and mounting mechs n shit. Thats why everything was so stiff in Titanfall, Source's animation engine is very strict, most it can do with physics blending with animations is that jiggly bones which often looks very silly.

So you know how an engine that hasn't been released yet works. I didn't know valve included time travel in their engine
Good, Titanfall is a very fun game that anyone can jump in to. It was just lacking in content and there was no reason to play anything but attrition and maybe frontier defense.
Fuck smart pistols
Heres hoping they dont give us like 30gb of language files again.
Titanfall was my favorite shooter of last year; played all the way to Gen10 rank 50 diamond and loved it. This game definitely deserves a sequel to unlock it's true potential. People should pay attention to these games.

The campaign was actually really good cinematically at points, it was a shame it wasn't a full on game.
Like when you're running in with the grunts and one gets pulled off by one of the flying things, or when you shoot down the ship.

The Smart Pistols got nerfed, takes longer to lock on after a patch was released.

Ah, I see you're a Valve employee.
Is it just me or is the multiplayer focused FPS genre dying? Non FPS titles like world of tanks and DotA2 are thriving but games like Titanfall, Evolve and hell even CoD are dropping massively in popularity. Are people just tired of them?

I don't have anything against them but after 1000 hours of planetside and team fortress each i've gotta admit that shit is stagnating
they need to try new things like they used to, seriously

I think it has something to do with people not wanting to pay $60 for a game they can't play forever. If you don't play the game when the community is booming, you have forever missed out on the experience. Nobody plays The Ship anymore, but at least I got to play it when the servers had a lot of people, nobody else is going to get to enjoy that ever again unless some famous streamer causes a spike in popularity

This kinda killed Halo 3 for me. The community lost it's enthusiasm in 2009 and was a shadow of it's former self.
I think maybe devs should make a back to basics shooter. All these shooters have become the same with the aim down iron sights/press A to jump over waist level barrier/upgrade your M4 Carbine with ACOG gameplay.
We need a shooter where you just play as a tough sonofabitch mowing down hordes of terrifying bads in exotic scifi environments.
