Very low levels of radiation turned up in a sample of milk from Washington state, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday, but federal officials assured consumers not to worry.
However, they still haven't fixed those reactors. It's almost or is (hasn't been confirmed yet) at level 7 (Chernobyl like event) with three reactors.
Also here is a radiation chart

THEN WHY IS it news seriously
If it's not important why is it in the news
:ninja: damn, ninja
I did a lab today to determine the half-lives of some radioactive isotopes. I figure it will help me build up a tolerance to radiation, so when the clouds of nuclear destruction are drifting over the eastern seaboard, I will actually absorb them and rewrite my own genetic code to become a post-human superbeing.
Breaking news: Low level of radiation found everywhere.
No seriously, the media is just hunting after everything with "nuclear" and "radiation" in it.
i live in washington
cool
Fuck sleeping next to my wife now, radiation chart says she dangerous. :v:
Wife? Hahhahaha
At least it isn't as bad as chernobyl, yet.
"Hey guys radiation, but don't worry, thanks."
Wife? Hahhahaha
You're right. I made it up. Just for the chart. :sigh:
*Unless it's a banana phone, hah.
If shit is fine after what happened to Chernobyl I am sure this will be fine unless something worse happens.

And then sooner or later you'll start calling people Smooth Skins.
I do not like green eggs and ham
maybe the US should switch to our canadian milk hmm? no radiation and in fun bags :v:

They come packaged in boobs?
Milk often does.
I knew hating milk would come in handy one day.
They come packaged in boobs?
I get my milk from boobs.
I swear.
:saddowns:
You know what's funny? You'd get as much radiation after an arm x-ray as you would if you'd just eat ten bananas.

And they've been doing that since Chernobyl :argh:
This just in, media outlets jump on story that will convince the majority of people that they're in danger when in reality they're perfectly safe.

After eating 80,000,000 bananas, you will die of an untreatable dose of radiation. :eng101:

Or 8 million. You can't be too careful, really.
Great, I saw this thread as I was eating cereal.

im sorry i hurt your patriotism and made your happy feelings go away.
Everything has trace amounts of radiations from every major nuclear event ever. Every nuclear bomb has left trace particles in the atmosphere.
It is actually a really easy way to determine if wine was bottled before or after the first nuclear bomb. Just detect the trace radiation associated with them. Works on a few other things too.
(For those curious, it is Cesium 137 that is used. It doesn't occur naturally, and only comes from catastrophic nuclear events. So if a substance lacks all trace particles of it, then it was sealed prior to the invention of nuclear weaponry)
