something I wrote up a while ago but I never finished. I'll probably end up finishing it tomorrow. Anyway, just wanted your opinion on it. It's supposed to be like a rap/hiphop Flobots sort of thing. While the working class dies You backpedal and hide behind your government charade With mindless drones believing they live in the ‘American Dream’ While we scream, “wake the fuck up to reality.” Living in a system that’s rotten through Time to restore, time to renew If you are one of the few Who believe in a change Stand tall, stand proud, never back down Scream at the top of your lungs While the government steals your funds To pay for their wars And all of their whores Peaceful stands of rebellion While the police are suppressin’ With brute force Everyone lock your doors There’s a riot in the streets But it’s up to us to defeat This wave of suppression Fuck this oppression Succession will follow progression
Good song.... But I don't like the theme. It's overused now-a-days if you ask me.
I'll start a crust punk band with you.
Very nice, sounds professional and you can tell you have put your heart into the song, it's more angry than a lot of the whiny oppressive crap you hear mostly.
