Who cares about ratings anyway.
I never saw anything that would warrant an M rating. There was no gore, violence wasn't gritty and realistic, a little blood effect, no nudity, no swearing (Unless they're counting the chat...), no sexual themes.

For people who don't frequent the TES megathread, these are some fully voiced NPCs I found in daggerfall
It might be unseemly for a woman of noble birth to be drawn to the forge, but I can't help myself. I find all the muscles and sweating to be... so interesting.
and 2 npcs standing near each other
Please go away now. I've almost got Michebert to finally ask me over to see his antique riding crops and I don't want anything to get in the way. I really need to see a good riding crop today.

You really must go and bother someone else. I'm close to convincing Neomi to come see my collection of antique riding crops. If you know what I mean.
There was some other sexual references in a few missions but either way there's probably worse stuff in the full product which could be equally hilarious
rated M for Mediocre
rated M for Mediocre
I thought it was sick... I wonder how much this will impact sales?
rated M for Mediocre
Have you played it?
Have you played it?
Yes.
I thought it was sick... I wonder how much this will impact sales?
Probably won't affect sales at all.
i think the beta was really dull and it doesnt surprise me that once again people of this forum are gonna eat it up, play for a month and then get bored and regret it [editline]23rd January 2014[/editline] also what logic is this? someone who played the game and didnt like it (because its objectively bad) "NO YOU DIDNT PLAY IT"
but really you haven't
I did and it was probably one of the shittiest non-F2P MMOs I have ever played.
but really you haven't
I played it, gameplay is pretty good for an MMO, everything else is awful. Butchered the TES lore more than Skyrim did.
Fuck agegates. They aren't even effective and it's time the ESRB quit forcing them.
If the combat wasn't blocky it'd be really interesting. I actually enjoyed exploration when I got to play.
something akin to the Halo case where the Flood immediately had them force it to be M.
i'm curious
Have you played it?
He's right. It's so bland, if it were a food, Ramsay would bin it
but really you haven't
Played it, mediocre is being too kind.
but really you haven't
i played it. its terrible. at this point nothing can save it.
Even WoW's got worse stuff than that.
It does? I mean to be fair I was falling asleep most of the time and it was a while ago but I don't remember any suggestive content at all
I'd play it now and then but this game isn't worth paying $15 a month for. Its also incredibly simple compared to most other MMO's
i'm curious
If I remember right, the ESRB were rating Halo 1 and the game was probably in the T-to-M range when they saw art of the Flood. It was so disturbing to them that they immediately demanded the game must be rated M because of how fucked up the Flood are. :v:
It does? I mean to be fair I was falling asleep most of the time and it was a while ago but I don't remember any suggestive content at all
Succubus, tons of /flirt and /silly lines, and a quest called "Just the tip" off the top of my head.

With a full sex scene?
Succubus, tons of /flirt and /silly lines, and a quest called "Just the tip" off the top of my head.
Yeah but for some reason succubi are given a green light despite how totally not child friendly their mythology is. None of that seems that bad anyhow
What, you don't mention the book that confirms Khajiiti have barbed dicks? With a full sex scene?
Fucking Kha'jit. Didn't notice that book anyhow, never saw it. Was it really in ESO?
Yeah but for some reason succubi are given a green light despite how totally not child friendly their mythology is. None of that seems that bad anyhow Fucking Kha'jit. Didn't notice that book anyhow, never saw it. Was it really in ESO?
That was in the Daggerfall game.

I know that's what happened in the uk with Just cause 2 and DX:HR for allowing you to kill "defenceless characters" (even though both games punished you)
I thought the ESRB wasn't rating online experiences ?
