My one gripe with this game is it feels very unfair to newcomers.
Many will probably want to go into matchmaking as soon as they start, but will more than likely get curbstomped against a good number of people until they start getting cards that aren't basic.
If you have the patience to get into this game, I'd recommend it. Or hell, even if playing it isn't your fancy, watching other people play can be fairly entertaining. I love watching Trump's memorable matches.
Is this on the iPhone?

I wonder if it'll be on that new big-ass iPhone. The game is cool, I just need new players to learn alongside.

My recommendation is watching a competitive player like Trump as he really does a good job explaining why each card is valuable, and why some approaches are better than others.
I'm sorry if I sound like I'm advertising for him, but the dude really has been a great help to my hearthstone game. I'm winning on a semi-regular basis now at least.
Pff, I just make super gimmick decks and let the rng gods play me their magic fiddle. No one expects deathrattle murloc buff shaman.

I got faceless manipulator and Deathwing in my first two card packs.
I pretty much win every battle now.

I tried the game out, got to level 10 with one of the classes, thought I was ready to try matchmaking, so far I've lost about 9 games in a row now, really not forgiving to newbies. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but getting the ball rolling and cracking some goods cards is an effort in itself.

Ugh....guess I'll be leaning on my naxx legendaries for awhile longer. Deathwing seems like a really fun card to play, specially when you can faceless manipulator for double shinanegans.

You aren't the only one. I had a friend spend over 300 dollars on packs trying to get a legendary and didn't get one.
Needless to say, when I called him up and told him, he hung up on me.
Wonder if that number is just people who have launched the game once
