I upgraded from Win7, and I have yet to have any issues so far. I'm enjoying this version very much.
Anything but that miserable fullscreen Metro bullshit they pulled. I'll have to take a looksee at this. Only reason I got 8 was the faster load times. Also, I had no idea there were third-party apps to modify 8.
I will upgrade next year when it comes out, would be about time as this windows 8.1 I am using got upgraded from the dev version of Windows 8. Free upgrade or not for Windows 10(Dreamspark gives me a license key either way).
Just curious for anyone who has 10 installed, can you still drag the task bar to the other sides of your screen? I use two monitors and I find having the task bar a little fat on the left side of my left most monitor very comfortable.
well for once it seems that Microsoft is moving in the right direction with an OS. Good job on them.
Nvidia Optimus doesnt work correctly on Windows 10, if you have nvidia optimus wait for new drivers
I messed around with it for a few minutes and it seems like the real deal, this is what Windows 8 should have been
Also, I had no idea there were third-party apps to modify 8.
that's kind of surprising, given nigh every discussion about why anybody hates w8 since its beta draws in a bunch of people telling you what free apps are available to bring back the start menu (who are then followed by people whining that they shouldn't have to do anything extra for it to work)
