People should really stop using drones near airports. It may harm people and cause confusion at the ATC. Bigger fines should be given to these folks.

The one time you don't want to have your engines injest someones shitty drone is on landing. Thats a great way to kill people.
This is why the FAA wants registration, and licenses to be imposed on drone operators because they do pose a huge safety hazard to large aircraft. And its righteous in the FAA's eyes because you're quite literally putting hundreds of people in pearl with irresponsible piloting of a drone.
The general publics arrogance, and irresponsibility around large aircraft is absolutely daunting. To further exuberate the problem, there will be no way to identify who was operating the drone. So the careless operator will just have to sleep with their shitty fuckup for the rest of their life, without much chance of them being caught.

Fuck that. Make it jail worthy too. It's completely moronic to do what drone operators are so notorious for doing. Example: they've been a problem for fire fighters in the past because they couldn't get planes and helicopters in to fight forest fires because fucking drone pilots were taking up the airspace. They're a nuisance and need the same level of regulation that big model plane and radio enthusiasts have to deal with, which is a lot.
