This just happened last night, I felt the fucking shockwave.
An explosion possibly caused by a natural gas leak leveled an unoccupied industrial building in Warren on Wednesday night, sending glass shards and debris flying through the air and breaking windows in nearby businesses for several blocks. The explosion completely destroyed the building, which housed Best Textile Services and Phoenix Linen Service LTD on Hoover, south of Stephens. Officals believe the business had ceased operating a couple of months ago. Hoover Road between Nine Mile and 10 Mile roads was closed to traffic until early this morning. “We heard what sounded like a bomb and all of a sudden it just started raining down wood and concrete,” said Paul Lewis, who works at TDM Manufacturing across the street from the explosion site. One civilian suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, officials said. Warren Fire Commissioner Wilburt “Skip” McAdams said fire crews received a call about 8:25 p.m. from witnesses reporting an industrial explosion. He said nobody was in the building at the time but fire crews were going to comb through the rubble once all of the fires had been extinguished.
Rest of story: http://www.dailytribune.com/articles/2011/05/05/news/doc4dc297a9b5475986227782.txt I thought we were being nuked for Osama's death... Edit: Best video I could find, it's sideways, but still shows how bricks and glass are everywhere.
I bet the explosion looked awesome
I bet the explosion looked awesome
It probably did, but I have friends now that say they felt the blast from over 10 miles away.
change that title man since it doesn't even explain whats suppose to be in the topic...
change that title man since it doesn't even explain whats suppose to be in the topic...
Can't change the title, it's too late. A mod would have to. Anyway, apparently it was a natural gas leak that was finally sparked by an outlet or something. This could have been much worse, but it's still bad. I'm just glad no one was killed.
coooooooooooool
Was probably badass
"*Explosion, sends debris flying, shatters windows* Yeah they usually do that
Good thing nobody got seriously injured.
"*Explosion, sends debris flying, shatters windows* Yeah they usually do that
I'd change the title if I could. :buddy:
Why do people film like this? How can you hold the camera for 5 minutes without realizing that it's sideways?
no, holding it sideways makes you a professional artist, i know lots of girls on facebook that can do that as well one of them can even use photoshop!!!11! she can somehow make images have more contrast and be black and white xD
Why do people film like this? How can you hold the camera for 5 minutes without realizing that it's sideways?
I know, it pisses me off. That's like, my worst pet peeve in the world. You have to be half retarded to hold a camera like that. Maybe a phone camera i can understand, but it's not that hard/. My delete button iss broken, so sorry.... mountain dew will do that -.-
