I was discussing with a friend how we could share audio from my computer and still be able to talk via skype, without feedback on his end.
Basically what I've done to try and tackle the problem is I've ordered a 3.5mm male-male audio cable off of amazon, which I'm going to use with a splitter. That splitter will go into the line-in.
One end of the cable will go in the microphone port, and the other end in one of the available splitter ports. Then the other splitter port will be used for my earphones, which will be worn under my headphones.
With that in mind, I'm hoping I'll be able to send audio from the call to my earphones, and any other audio to my headphones.
However, I'm kind of skeptical that it will work, as it sort of sounds like bit of a cheaty way to do things.
What do you think about the setup? Any pointers?
Would still cause feedback, would it not?
Assuming the other guy in the call can't hear my earphones, then no. That is in theory of course, I have no idea whether it will work or not.
or just use an audio repeater from VAC to another output
