Does anyone have Qwest Residential Internet, the fiber optic 40Mbps download/20Mbps upload? Getting it in the office and want to know how consistent and the quality of their service is.
You have fiber optic at your house?! Holy shit. That's unheard of here.

No, it's in an office building, but I don't need the business grade line. Residential works fine. It's whatever Qwest calls 'fiber optic'. Who knows.

Its probably two guys, one on top of your building, and one on the headend, using these:

They go really fast.
Derp aside, I have no idea about their fiber optic service. All I know is that Quest DSL sort of sucks, but then again, its DSL. All we have is SDN Communications, and they only offer business grade fiber optic service, which probably costs a small fortune.

Oh the folly of living in a communicationally stagnant country
I know when my friend had Qwest, it was really bad quality. But being fiber optic, they have a 'technician' come out to make sure you are really getting those speeds. So, who knows!
We have fiber but our max in this area is 12Mbs/1Mbs
There's fios about 5km from my place, but there seems to be an ominous force field blocking my ISP from laying down fiber optic cables to my town.
