• I need help finding out about dreams I had as a child.

Well recently I've been having troubles sleeping, so to occupy myself I decided to look back at my childhood, when I suddenly remembered about some dreams I had at the age of four. I had the exact same dream every night until we moved out of the house. Let me explain the dream/s. Like I said, I had the dream for a long period of time, I think a month or more. The dream always started with everything around me fading. I felt a sense of isolation, I felt like I was elevating in one place. Everything faded to black. Then I would always see these two large, shadow like demon figures hitting me. That was it. For the whole time, these figures hitting me. I would always awake from these dreams with a wet bed. Every single time. During the day I would never tell anyone, and it felt like it never happened at all, I wouldn't remember it until I fell asleep. It was really fucking scary and I couldn't talk or do anything during the dreams. Does anyone know what these kind of dreams are called?
Perhaps it's some kind of repressed memory that happened to you as a child manifesting itself in your dreams. Have you thought about talking to someone? You can talk to me. I will love you.
Recurring nightmares is what they're called since you asked.

sounds like a daily sleep paralysis
Hit them back.
Hit them back.
I'm seriously considering doing that, using Lucid Dreaming.
I have a recurring dream of the same sort except instead of demons its a big blob mass. I don't know what it is but its something solid that goes from very tiny sizes to huge gigantic sizes of just black mass. I then feel it multiply and divide on and on. I didn't wake up pissing myself, but I woke up in a sweat every time.

Did you ever have any problems with your parents, bullies, etc?
Looks like the plot, OP. Better get ready for a boss fight.
Go to sleep in your dreams, you wake up instantly. Woah, mindfuck.
I used to have the same dreams when I was a kid. It was just my parents voices chanting "DONT DO THAT DRYDEN!" And it just kept getting faster and faster. It was pretty creepy.

Kill yourself, in the dream. Or at least hurt yourself. No seriously. Hit your head against a brick wall, run into a car, punch yourself in the face, etc. Always woke me up from bad dreams.

The demons are you parents. Wake up in the middle of the night and hit them. Then happily go back to sleep. Then go forced military school.

You may be able to bring it with you and even the odds a bit.
Go to sleep with a shotgun. You may be able to bring it with you and even the odds a bit.
Or he could end up shooting it in the middle of the night and scare the living fuck out of anyone nearby.
Or he could end up shooting it in the middle of the night and scare the living fuck out of anyone nearby.
No, it's the only way. We're always told that we should face our demons but I never knew they meant it literally. LOCK AND LOAD OP.
I always have scary as shit dreams, they start off okay, like one time i was in my office doing my work and having a nice day, I get into the elevator and the elevator television says somthing about a nuke heading towards the U.S.A And going down to the ground floor, right into the fire :saddowns:
Lucid Dream -> Find demons -> Ask them very politely to stop -> If they don't then -> Continue wetting your bed.
Admitting it and talking about it is the first step to recovery.
They're just dreams with recurring settings, I assume it's normal. You get a really strange feeling when you have them.
I used to have reoccurring nightmares as a kid. It came to a point where I started fighting them inside a lucid dream and won and I haven't had a nightmare since... and this was over 12 years ago. Pretty awesome experience really, considering the outcome that I have really detailed dreams now.
