I have seen much progress in multiple American states, especially
California. Now how's the progress in European countries?
In Norway we there hasn't been any progress lately, even industrial hemp is
forbidden here.

The only chance we have to legalize marijuana on a larger scale is with the vote on prop 19 in Cali in November. If prop 19 doesn't go through then marijuana legalization will be set back years and years. If anyone is in Cali vote yes on prop 19, you'd be doing stoners of the world an enormous favor.
still decriminalized here which sucks, still no new political cabinet after 40+ days of our election.
still decriminalized here which sucks...
What?
I think he's saying that it's only decriminalized in his country; not legal.
Oh, my bad
In Denmark it's still just something people are talking about, but it looks like something is going to happen. 59% of the population wants it decriminalized.
Decriminalized here would be actually great. Pennsylvania doesn't even have medical use yet :(

i like your avatar.
Thanks, I'm really in a mood for listening to his music. Not to post off topic or de-rail the thread but seriously if you like KiD CuDi, listen to this new song: http://everyoneloveshiphop.com/2010/07/17/kid-cudi-erase-me-feat-kanye-west-cdq/

it would revolutionize society
forever
I hope it passes. I think it will.
Really hope it gets legal, would stop the gangsta kids who do it to "fuck da police", and people would just toke because they like being high/medical treatment.
decriminalisation isnt going to stop the underground thugz making money of ur habit.
Here in NC there are talks of legalization because it would save sooo much money for the state because it cost's a large amount of money each year to sustain an inmate.
Colorado has gotten pretty lax. The latest development isn't legalization, but instead Colorado legislation wants to raise the tax on the Medical Marijuana business from around 4% to around 16%.
Good money for the state, and it'll only help further the push to legalization. It's pretty much legal now anyways.
Not too many people here that don't smoke anymore it feels like..
I hope it passes. I think it will.
As a raging faggot and avid smoker, I'm gonna say that it's not gonna pass. Dude. California couldn't pass fucking gay marriage. The only hope you have is if all the conservative fucks who toke toke in secret, feel confident enough in voter's confidentiality to vote yes.

I thought the people who voted down gay marriage were mostly homophobic, meaning there's a 75% chance that they're a redneck, meaning they'll want weed legalised.
Combine that with the stoners who aren't rednecks and I think you have yourself a majority there.
Portugal decriminalized ALL drugs in 2001, but after that it seems like no one else is ready to take the hint.

I looked it up and it seems they're successful(?) with their decision too.

I'm going to vote yes for it. It needs to be done to save California.
Legalization of all drugs is a step society will have to take soon, or deal with a permanent, rooted, immovable black market culture that won't be uprooted by legislation.

dont forget to mention how a lot of junkies kicked their habit because of a different approach, instead of seeing the drug abuser as a culprit the abuser is seen as a victim and offered help.
While I support full legalization, I came upon this article last night regarding California's Prop 19 and thought it was interesting.

I tipped the biggest Norwegian newspapers on whats going on in California, got their attention.

Yo man, have you ever even done Armadillo?
Fucking shits crazy man...
I hope it stays illegal, it will just be stuffed with tobacco as soon as its legalized.
Norwegian myself too,
gotta admit I know a handfull of dealers, though I have never toked.
The reason I'm not is because with illegal drugs comes crime and with crime, there is a chance you'll have someone at your door waving a baseball bat.
I'd vote yes for full legalization anyways.
