I'm looking to buy a webcam from newegg, I've been looking around and does anyone have any recommendations on a cheap, "Good" webcam?
Thanks in advance.
I just bought a LifeCam 5000, and it looks pretty cool and got some good reviews. Good starter cam I think. Though don't get a webcam from newegg, the good cams on are really expensive and the cheap ones are crap.
Cheap and best don't go together. If you want a quality item that will last long, you're going to have to spend a decent amount of money.
There is the "bang for the buck" quality you're overlooking though.
I agree with the Lifecams, they seem to have good quality pictures.
Good ol' Playstation2 EyeToy. There are drivers for them to work. Works on XP, Vista and 7.

Cost me about £2.50 second hand. Just go hunt around your local game shops.

Don't ever buy a Logitech webcam. You'll be dooming yourself if you do.
Get a Microsoft LifeCam VX5000 or do what the above guy said if you're a cheap bastard. Or stop being a cheap bastard and get a LifeCam Cinema.

Your title is an oxymoron.
Take these 3 words

Good quality

Cheap

Webcam
You can mix and match them but you can only have 2, you cant have all 3.

There should be a way to remove them, right? or at least break them.
I got a LifeCam VX 5000 at future shop one day for $10. It was on clearance. I guess just take a look at local retail stores first for clearance items. Mine works perfect.
What are you planning to use it for? If your just using it for chats online I personally wouldn't go all out on one.. It seems alot of the time the quality is reduced anyway due to low bandwidth on either side.

I agree.
I have a little piece of bluetac covering each :)
Get a PS3 eye
EDIT:
The quality is good and it outputs 640x480 at 30FPS and 320x240 at 60FPS with current drivers. The custom drivers also support x64
