Even though there are people around who judge the fourth and final movie to be a "BAD MOVIE"..... its not actually a bad movie, and I thought it was a great tribute. A few moments which were great cinema in fact. The original trilogy on the other hand... is something of a true masterpiece in adventure style movies. Although the 80s cheese hit the temple of doom thick and hard, it is still a superb movie. I prefer Raiders personally, but there are aspects of the third that I really like. The second is probably the most memorable though.. very weird if you think about but hey.. thought this scene in the 4th one was a little cheesy, but it was spectacular when I first saw it on the big screen.. The Indiana Jones films are amazing entertainment.
I'd say the Temple of Doom was my favorite, but I loved Crystal Skull aswell. Especially the bomb scene. I've always had a thing for cold war era atomic bombs..
I thought the Crystal Skull was alright, it was pretty good but it didn't charm me like the older films.
People seem to always jump on the hate wagon for Crystal Skull because of the [sp]Aliens[/sp]. Yet the other films are about Pandora's Box releasing evil, Mad Voodoo men or the Holy Grail. They are all as mad as the last one and all as brilliant as the last one.

That I respect because people aren't trolling it like that. It got great reviews in fact, so in that respect I like it more They put a lot of effort with it, a lot more so than the previous ones, so for that I praise them
For me, Indie jumped the fridge with "Crystal Skull".
I forgot to add that i liked the 3rd as much as the other 3. In order: Raiders of the Lost Ark Last Crusade Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Temple of Doom I don't know why, I just didn't like Temple of Doom as much as the others.
I think the 4th one was a decent movie, just not a very good Indiana Jones movie. I don't think it deserves the massive hate it got though, there was nothing "Indiana Jones raping" about it.
The 4th Indy film fell into the same problem with the star wars prequels. People that had spent their lives thinking about what a new Indy film would be like had set expectations too high. It was a great film, not as good as the originals but not as bad as other films.
Last crusade was fucking awesome Sean Connery is just that badass
Out of the original three, Temple of Doom was my least favourite. Haven't seen much of Crystal Skull other than the bomb scene. I really like some of the characters just because they say things funnily. Like Sallah says "Indie!" and the chinese kid says "Hahaha, very funny Dr. Jones!" ...I'm easily amused.
I love how in the latest one he actually is 70 years old and instead of doing shit himself, he trains people.
Indy is a total badass! Lets just hope the writers don't get greedy and make a whole new movie, replacing Harrison Ford with Shia Lebouf. THAT would literally be raping Indiana.
The only reason I didn't like the forth was because of the ending, the nuke scene was really fucking awesome.
Temple of Doom> Raiders > Last Cruisade > Crystal Skull. I don't find any of them bad, especially the first three - the first three are all good. I just like some more than others.
Man, I wish they'd make a fourth movie but I fear all of the actors and actresses would be far too old to reprise their roles and would just make you long for the originals. Plus, they'd probably fuck it up with an over abundance of CGI.

I really hated all the CGI. Spielberg said a while before it came out, that they were going to be very minimal with the CGI. Bull -fucking- shit. I quite liked it initially after seeing it, then hated it for ages. Now I'm sort of indifferent about it - it's definitely not a "bad" film.

I'm confused why I was amazed, maybe I was just making myself think it was better than it actually was. That'll be it :smug:
I like all of them equally except Temple of Doom. Having Booty Twaps as a sidekick didn't appeal to me. I would have loved it if they got Sloth to be the sidekick instead. For those who don't know what I'm talking about:
stop being a troll it wasn't a bad movie
Yes, yes it was. CGI gophers, Shia LaDouche swinging with CGI monkeys, CGI fireants, stupid psychic Russians, surviving inside a fridge as a nuke goes off, gargantuan UFOs hiding underground with glass aliens, Shia LaDouche swinging with fucking CGI monkeys, a skeletal looking Karen Allen, Indy's CGI whip, nuking the fridge, and CGI monkey swinging. Nothing even remotely close to the ridiculousness in that movie has ever been in any of the other Indy films. Indiana Jones is all about exploring things dealing with religion and the paranormal. Not fucking aliens. It w as the biggest movie disappointment I've ever experienced in my entire life. They waited way too long to make a new movie, it should've came out 15 years ago.
How do you like the old Indiana Jones movies? They have the exact same stuff but without CGI.
The old films had no where near the amount of cheese and cringe worthiness as Crystal Skull, except for maybe a few moments in Temple of Doom. But, I would take Temple of Doom over Crystal Skull any fucking day. If only for the amazing mine cart sequence.

Comparing things like Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List to stuff like Munich and The Terminal. And for Lucas with the star wars trilogy. The Indiana Jones movies are great contributions to cinema, INCLUDING the fourth one and probably the ones in the future. You aren't going in depth with your analysis.... the acting, the cinematography.. the story... the style of film... I couldn't give 2 shits about 2 seconds of film containing a CGI gopher or monkey
Your post makes no sense.

They weren't Voodoo men either. Voodoo comes from the Caribbean.
You forgot his middle name, Motherfucking. It's Dr Indiana Motherfucking Jones.
