Picking up ads through speakers, audio drivers then cease to function.

Recently, my audio drivers had been playing up (not working at all), so I reinstalled them. After the reinstallation, they seemed to be fine... Initially. After a few minutes, they start(ed) picking up random snippets of advertisements, then the audio stops working entirely until I adjust the volume a notch.
Again, after a while, an ad will play and disable my audio.
Exactly what could be causing this? I've never experienced an issue like this before.
I have had this issue with some old computer speakers that I now use for my TV. They don't cut out though. Only when I have them on and my TV is off, I can faintly hear them.
Sorry, not sure what can be done. I am pretty sure they are picking up AM signals
I don't think an AM station would play the first part of the Predators commercial over and over... Although I could be wrong.
Regardless, it's driving me mad.
Sorry for the bump, but this issue seems to be caused by some kind of malware. I've tried several applications in an attempt to get rid of it (Spybot, Malwarebytes...) to no avail. This malware opens a process of internet explorer in the background, then throws popups and sound advertisements at me.
All of these programs have done nothing to fix it, and it still disables my audio for no reason. Anyone able to help?
