• A Decent Barebones Laptop?

Has anyone had any good experiences with certain barebones laptops? I'm looking to build one that has decent gaming performance (for when I'm away from home for long periods of time), with a maximum budget of about $1,500. I'd like to be at least running the recommended for L4D2. I've been looking at the barebones Asus C90 due to the fact it'll support a desktop Core 2 Duo (not a fan of mobile processors). I'm not quite sure what to pick for the video card though.
Barebone laptops aren't worth the time, or the money, imo. [editline]1st February 2011[/editline] For $1100 you can get a laptop that can max out L4D2, and then some.

this is getting too repetitive http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&biw=1680&bih=906&q=qosmio+x505-q892&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=575365318266538206&ei=A7BITbTwCMK88ga8i6G6Bg&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CFsQ8wIwAA#
(not a fan of mobile processors)
Well enjoy the excessive heat output, and ridiculously low battery time due to excessive power usage. Really, get a ordinary laptop with a mobile processor, there's a good reason laptops use them.
