I'd rather have Mewtwo, but alright.
fuck I wanted Zoroark
We should've had Hawlucha
it would be somewhat interesting if they brought back pokemon trainer as a character himself, with attacks similar to pikmin dude/ice climbers where you summon a pet and act as a single unit, instead of controlling from the back lines. Would open up some fun gimmicks like for a throw move, throwing pokeballs at people to temporarily capture them and toss them like a baseball also final smash attack where he just unleashes a wailord and it crushes 2/3rds of the stage
Is it just me or does he look graphically worse than the other characters?
why do people think an old character of a series getting in means new characters won't fighting game rosters CAN get bigger
he looks really... flat? [editline]aaaa[/editline] like, he looks like he should look furrier than he does.
I can definitely see that. A bit more fluff should make him look better, even if it'd need a bit more power to render than most other characters. 'cause fur's a bit more graphically-complex than skin, and probably requires soft body dynamics rather than standard graphical techniques.
Lucario isn't really relevant anymore since 4th gen, so I have mixed feelings. I hope Mewtwo and Pokemon Trainer return. I'd say Jigglypuff too (mostly because Jigglypuff is fun as heck to play as), but shes a running gag left on the backburner for too long. I think he returned because of his exclusive ability in ssbb, where his attacks get stronger as he takes on more damage. Makes for an interesting fight.
Quite the berserker indeed.

should have been gengar instead gengar rules
i for one support this decision. now i just need to get the game, and the system....
Should've confirmed Wario first.

He was a posterboy for X and Y's Mega Evolutions.

Still a weird decision but oh well, it could have been Mudkip, just imagine the shit storm there.

Well if he doesn't somehow utilize Mega Evolution in Smash 4 than his "mega evo posterboy relevance of gen 6" doesn't really matter. I could see them changing his final smash to his Mega Evo form change though. Show me that and then I'll accept him as a relevant character.
I wanted Aegislash.
Argh! I want wolf back! Do you hate me or something Nintendo? :suicide:
Based off my experiences from Brawl modding and hacking, I can recognize a lot of small things. That is quite literally the Brawl model of Lucario fixed up (higher poly) and retextured. The polygonal shape of the eyes and paws are so familiar that it's quite obvious to me. Why Lucario, though? Why not Mewtwo? We already gave our distress for Mewtwo not being in Brawl but it looks like the same case here.
lucario? seriously? he's probably one of the worst digimon choices available

As long as it's not the exact same thing, I don't see the issue.
Why Lucario, though? Why not Mewtwo?
why do people think an old character of a series getting in means new characters won't fighting game rosters CAN get bigger
the problem with that is it was stated the roster for the new smash bros will not be bigger than brawl's.
Just announce Wonder Red already! :c
goddamnit they shouldve put pikachu in there
the problem with that is it was stated the roster for the new smash bros will not be bigger than brawl's.
When? Show a source.
When? Show a source.
Nevermind, I can't find the original source I read back in last June of them mentioning roster size, though I guess even then it'd be hard to say if it has much merit anymore seeing as it was last june.
That's an ...interesting dumb ratio? Looking at people's complaints on this on this forum and outside, If due to people who think this means no Mewtwo, no it doesn't. Brawl planned for both Mewtwo and Lucario - Roy and Marth with what's in the Data, probably just didn't make it due to time constraints. If moveset left as in Melee the clone argument is quite the stretch as well considering it's really only the Neutral B, we have Toon Link anyway. If it's the common hatred due to him often being put together with the furry community, eh that's laughable to me. Otherwise if some people just don't like the character for whatever reason, maybe by looks or unfun to play as in Brawl I can respect that at least, but I doubt that's the biggest drive for the hate he gets.
