Wierd title i know. So i did make a old thread (http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=821308) that i say 3 monitors did not work. Someone told me
if you're desperate, maybe a cheap PCI card for the third monitor? would need to be ATi for drivers
And i been thinking. I have a old graphic card that i maby can use, but the question is. I have a HD 4850 and this other graphic card i have is some old shit. But will it work if i just want 3 monitors or does the graphic card need to be a 4850? Sorry for spelling....
Should work fine as long as you don't want to crossfire them or anything.
cool. gonna try.
is the old card AGP, PCI or PCI-E? check your MoBo has the right slot for it [editline]05:17PM[/editline] also wow that thread was only a week ago? feels like ages
Did not work :frown: The problem (what i think) is that my motherboard is ASUS P5Q premium and i have my HD 4850 on it. And when i read about the motherboard it says
1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot at max. x16 link (blue) 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot at max. x8 link (white) 2 x PCI Express x16 slot at max. x4 link (black) 1 x PCIe x1 2 x PCI
And the 4850 is a PCI Express 16x 2.0. So is it possibly to get in another graphic card so i can use 3 monitors? that'll be AGP, it won't go in a PCI-E slot although you're in luck, with multiple PCI-E slots you'll have no problem finding a card to put in [editline]07:31PM[/editline] unless anyone knows better than me, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131144 should work
Thank mate.
