Certainly not going to stop plenty of kids from playing it though :v: Glad to hear Ubisoft is taking the pirate concept seriously though; it'd be disappointing (though probably still entertaining) if Assassin's Creed 4: Pirates of the Caribbean was more than just a joke title.
I can see this head line coming up.. "Man gets fined and jailed for pirating Assassin's Creed 4"
Are rape and pillaging going to be gameplay features then?

I'm exited for this.
This is the first AC game I'm interested in since the first one.

Hopefully there will be more assassinating in this game than i hear 3 had.
I am a bit sceptical when they first announced the pirate theme, but at least they take it somewhat serious and we won't have jolly drunken pirates with wooden legs and parrots on the shoulders :v:
Certainly not going to stop plenty of kids from playing it though :v:
If anything it will encourage them as kids like to play games that are 18 rated because they are not suppose to be playing them. I guess it makes them feel more mature or because it is wrong to do so.
What is it with Ubisoft and pirates lately, first Far Cry 3, now this?
I remember how everything in history was sugar coated until you got to high school (depending on your teacher) and college.
What's funny is that a large percentage of players will probably 13 and younger. :/

I'm not really against younger kids playing these games as a rule, but I am very tired of how apathetic parents are about it. I mean yeah, I played M-Rated games when I was 4, but that was Doom II which was only slightly more advanced than a cartoon. Compare that to the modern day *insert realistic shooter/excessively violent game of choice*, and it's a totally different landscape. There's certain content that kids of a certain age just flat-out do not understand. I don't think they're being mentally disturbed by the content presented to them, but I also don't think they understand the context either and that might be a problem. Who knows.
Rape confirmed.
Remaining skeptical, AC3 seemed awesome but was apparently a major letdown.
