Neat. The engine is visually a lot better than Skyrim. Although I wonder how much you can actually mod. If it's just 'new missions' it's not that interesting. Hope people can add their own characters, spoken dialog and combat / engine tweaks.
Cd Projekt just can't stop giving.
Wow, CD Projekt Red is just giving and GIVING. Also, my copy is updating; anyone have a list of the patch contents yet? I'm hoping it fixes the CTD I get when I make Henselt surrender.

CD Projekt are sneaky bastards btw. At the start of The Witcher 2 you had this choice to kill the baronesses' son in a fight just after the beginning of the siege. If you did, you'd encounter the baroness in the dungeons later, bare-breasted in the torture chamber. CD Projekt had to remove this scene from the original TW2 release because of complaints from the usual moral police.
However they re-added the whole thing in the extended edition, they probably thought it'd slip under the radar :v:
The Witcher 2 is probably one of the best RPG's I've played in a long time. I really enjoyed playing a character where you didn't have to be a villian or a hero if you didn't want to.
I forget but I think the world spaces in Witcher 2 weren't so big, wonder if it's possible to make something even half the size of Skyrim, would be neat to see what people come up with..

Judging by the size of the map in the demonstration video and the fact that I haven't played the game which makes this a guess, the best thing I can think of would be interconnected maps - akin to something like Neverwinter Nights, where it's area-by-area - rather than one gigantic map with all sorts of stuff, dungeons/house interiors strewn about, and NPCs on it like Skyrim.
Which is exactly how it is now.
I bet you could make a really cool Fable Total Conversion in this engine, assuming the mod tools are that strong.
