I was wondering if my 460-Watt PSU could handle the GeForce GTX 460. This what my PC has now: Intel Core i7 Processor 860 6 GB DDR3 1,5-TB SATA NVIDIA GeForce GT 230 If there's any other information you need to be able to tell me what I want to know, do tell.
It's probably a bad idea to try running a 460 and an I7 on 460 watts. At least get 750.
Thanks for the quick response. Looks like the upgrade will have to wait for a little while.
uh you don't need anywhere near 750 for a single card setup, hell IIRC you could fit twin 570s into 750w however I doubt the 460W you have now is of any sort of quality I don't know your location so I can't tell which of these will be cheaper but look for one of the following -Corsair CX500 -Seasonic 520W -Antec High Current Gamer 520W -Antec Neo Eco 520W
