Seems like a massive letdown
What a surprise to find that DLC for fallput 4 is a letdown.
Man, fallout 3 and new vegas had such strong dlc, what happened.

It didn't take me long to figure it out and I find the solution so quickly that it's not even a bother.

[editline]29th July 2016[/editline] Only problem I had with em is that I walked off the edge by accident on the last puzzle and lost all my progress because I forgot to save and it doesn't autosave after you complete a puzzle.
Settlements happened, its an okay system for building player homes but it didn't need a bunch of addons. Some of these should of been weapon and armor expansions that gave customization similar to automatron. [editline]30th July 2016[/editline] [QUOTE=Pvt. It doesn't add anything to the gameplay with them being there
Man, fallout 3 and new vegas had such strong dlc, what happened.
Uh, they both had "non story addon pack" DLC like courier stash and those had less content than this...

Hopefully the modding community can create that overseer feel. However it's quite disappointing that Bethesda hasn't incorporated that already into the DLC.
Beth really fucked up with FO4
Uh, they both had "non story addon pack" DLC like courier stash and those had less content than this...
Actually, only New Vegas had weapon packs, and even then, Courier's Stash was just a pack of preorder bonuses from different retailers, while Gun Runner's Arsenal had a few neat guns and tidbits, which were quite cheap, so I'd say they could get excused.
Should've just given you a shitty vault that you upgrade over time instead of starting from scratch.
Uh, they both had "non story addon pack" DLC like courier stash and those had less content than this...
Only New Vegas had those, and they were in addition to 4 full-sized story DLC packs, not 2 full-sized DLC packs and one tiny sized DLC. And when I say 2 full sized DLC I'm giving Nuka World the benefit of the doubt, we have no idea if it will be big yet.
Bethesda just seems creatively bankrupt with Fallout already. Fallout has become more of a testbed for new ideas rather than an actual game, and most of those new ideas were poorly received. Which makes the DLCs even more sad, because they just don't really have any creativity to them whatsoever. Nuka World may prove me wrong, but given just how flat Fallout 4 has fallen, I'm not expecting much. I mean, all we've gotten for Fallout 4 so far is more additions to the workshop system (which is basically the new horse armor at this point), and Point Lookout 2 (while not being nearly as good). I really, REALLY hope this creative bankruptcy doesn't carry over into TES.
