Once something has been added to the library of games that EA Access subscribers can freely play, the company will not remove it, according to Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore.Speaking with CVG, Moore made it clear that Access members won't find themselves suddenly unable to continue playing a game because it's been removed from the "Vault" of free games. "I think one of the key things is that once a game goes into the Vault it stays there, it's not going to be taken out, that's a commitment we've made," he said.
More at GameSpot.
on PC theres none of this bullshit consoles have ~pc master race~
Isn't EA Access exclusive to Xbone/PC anyway? I'm sure that's why sony made the statement they made. if it werent exclusive to microsoft i'd assume they wouldn't care what subscription services are on the console. if i'm wrong i'd like to be corrected, however.

Of course they wouldn't.

EA hasn't done anything shit lately. Is the universe corrupted, or?
Moore made it clear that Access members won't find themselves suddenly unable to continue playing a game because it's been removed from the "Vault" of free games.
Isn't that not how it works with Playstation Plus? Strider's no longer offered for free for Plus members, but I can still keep on playing it so long as I'm still subscribed to PS Plus. I can even uninstall and reinstall it if I wish. Or am I somehow reading this horribly wrong?
EA hasn't done anything shit lately. Is the universe corrupted, or?
There was the thing about pools and toddlers with The Sims 4, but it's not that big of a deal yet (if/when they sell it as DLC then it will all come together). I'm still disappointed with Simcity though, it had all the potential in the world but no.. They just had to fuck it up royally.
Doing this won't remove you from being worst company almost 3 years in a row EA. But it's definitely a start.

[editline]9th August 2014[/editline]
on PC theres none of this bullshit consoles have ~pc master race~
Oh shut up
Eh, I prefer PSN+ still. It isn't limited to one game company and you can get every game any time you want as long as it's in your download history.
The "vault" will be an ever growing library of games. PSN+ switches them out, but apparently EA Access does not remove them.
Well, I know that much. Its just that the section I quoted makes it sound like PSN+ keeps you from playing the game after its switched out. Unless I read that wrong, and that wasn't meant to be a criticism of PSN+ at all, in which case ignore me.
Eh, I prefer PSN+ still. It isn't limited to one game company and you can get every game any time you want as long as it's in your download history.
Too bad the ps4 store is empty as hell, and the ps4 digital downloads are overpriced to shit.
As for EA Access, I don't see myself buying into it anytime soon. I don't have much interest in the games EA will be offering.
Too bad the ps4 store is empty as hell, and the ps4 digital downloads are overpriced to shit.
But PSN+ isn't limited to PS4. There's tons of good games on it for Ps3 and Vita.
Doing this won't remove you from being worst company almost 3 years in a row EA. But it's definitely a start.
EA's just a bad company now, there are companies out there that are much worse
Doing this won't remove you from being worst company almost 3 years in a row EA. But it's definitely a start.
I haven't been following, but I assume you mean to imply they will win forma third year? Either way, I disagree. They've been getting better. It'll be a long time before the circle-jerk calms down, but they're doing better. Give that title to Comcast or some shit.
Doing this won't remove you from being worst company almost 3 years in a row EA. But it's definitely a start.
Like they ever deserved it in the first place
EA hasn't done anything shit lately. Is the universe corrupted, or?
Big companies fixing themselves are my favourite glitch
EA's just a bad company now, there are companies out there that are much worse
lmao EA have always just been "a bad company", basically every other company in that "worst company" thing is always actually massively morally bankrupt and straight up awful for the consumers. EA just make video games, a luxury item. They can have bad business practice, but it's hard for them to be a worse company than say Wallmart of any of the big banks.
Doing this won't remove you from being worst company almost 3 years in a row EA. But it's definitely a start.
King.com is far worse when it comes to game companies, at least EA is trying to be a little bit better now. [editline]9th August 2014[/editline] For one, EAs games aren't entirely built off of manipulating the player into purchasing currency that reduces waiting
EA hasn't done anything shit lately. Is the universe corrupted, or?
God needs to check the integrity of game cache.
EA makes a lot of promises. We'll see how this pans out in time. I'm predicting yet another apology letter six months from now.
EA will fuck up either way when new games come out.
EA will fuck up either way when new games come out.
whose games don't fuck up when they come out.
Trust me this is a Cycle that EA is going through. They usually do bad, but then start doing good and later change it so that they do bad shit again. It's a cycle, so unfortunately it's only temporary.
What about disabling multiplayer? Those sports games will sure be worth it when they shut their servers down. Not exactly removing them but it would make any multiplayer games a potential loss.
EA will fuck up either way when new games come out.
Please, Please EA. Don't fuck DA:I up...
What about disabling multiplayer? Those sports games will sure be worth it when they shut their servers down. Not exactly removing them but it would make any multiplayer games a potential loss.
Would happen to any other game as well, though?
