• What are your irrational fears?

So I sit down next to my fan and suddenly feel uncomfortable. Why? Fans are cool. They blow air at you when you're hot. So why would I feel uncomfortable? My mind spiraled into a nonsensical dramatization of what might happen if the damn thing breaks. Realistically, the blade stops. In my head, the fan sparks, the blade detaches from its housing and spins in my direction, penetrating my eye with gruesome detail. I have since moved myself from the fans danger zone... or so I think... because of this stupid irrational fear that popped into my head. what are your stupid irrational fears?
I always see reflections of lights and shit like my screen and I always think im going to get killed by some lunatic. I also get extremely paranoid when I'm home alone and lock my bedroom door when I go to bed.
I'm afraid of falling s from heights, yet I love going on roller coasters. The first few minutes on the lien to get on a ride are OK, then right before I get on I feel as though I'm literally going to die from this ride, either by some accident or some heart-attack from fear. The worst is when the ride starts up with the slow part in the beginning where the ride goes up, and up, and up until the first drop. The worst was when I went on a ride that had some problems with the gears, so they had to EXTREMELY slowly bring you up to the drop point, which was a good 200 or so feet above ground. Even better, I decided to go front seat.
sometimes i have computer nightmares and i don't know why they scare me so much
Getting the palm of my hand eaten by a horse while feeding one a carrot.
Death, and vomiting in public. Probably heights too, but only very high heights.
mormons they're rising and every single one of them is nice... too nice..
I am constantly afraid of having hallucinations (mostly visual but also audio) because I experience them sometimes. They are mostly shadowy figures but sometimes I might see a person.
Religious imagery, especially that of Jesus Christ. I seriously have no idea why. I've always had this fear.
It's okay, I know plenty of others who are also afraid of bullshit.
I'm afraid of looking through a door that's ajar.
I'm afraid of looking through a door that's ajar.
Especially when it's in the dark, you never know what might be lurking inside.
Blowjobs. Having my dick between a set of teeth just doesn't sit well with me.
Blowjobs. Having my dick between a set of teeth just doesn't sit well with me.
Don't stick your dick in crazy.
Heights. I get vertigo.
Heights. I get vertigo.
Don't you mean vertical? Edit: It was a joke. vertical/heights
Moths. I have mottephobia.
When I was younger I used to have this irrational fear that I was being watched through hidden cameras in my home that would trigger the police if I said anything anti-government. So basically, I used to be crazy.
Having a mentally ill child. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY
Having a mentally ill child. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY
Because A: its expensive B: he'd be mentally challenged C: its not easy
Because A: its expensive B: he'd be mentally challenged C: its not easy
D: He's a bit of a dick.
Whenever i think about cooking, i imagine myself accidentally chopping my fingers off
Whenever I handle sharp kitchenware I always seem to imagine the worst possible scenario taking place, like accidentally dropping it on one of my pets, injuring myself, etc
Continuing this trend of cutlery related posts, I get nervous whenever someone has a knife because I think, "Dude could just stab me in the neck right now."
I get nervous around mentally challenged people. I keep feeling like they're gonna do something completely batshit and kill someone with their pants or something.
Getting the palm of my hand eaten by a horse while feeding one a carrot.
A horse bit my finger once when I was six years old or so. I was trying to feed it when the fucker went straight for my finger. It only bit me because I wasn't holding the carrot properly, as you're supposed to place it in the center of your palm and hold your hand flat so it can eat the carrot. My finger was fine though, and after a few weeks, it hadn't even left a scar.
Religious imagery, especially that of Jesus Christ. I seriously have no idea why. I've always had this fear.
Just a thought, but you may or may not be Satan. Might want to get tested, bud.
sometimes i have computer nightmares and i don't know why they scare me so much
Due to huge amount of time being spent here, I frequently have dreams of Facepunch in a physical form. The worst one was when I dreamed that the Refugee Camp was Auschwitz and Craptasket was pulling this magical kill lever.
Dying.
