I'll start this off by saying hello Facepunch! I'm brand new to posting on the forums, so go easy on me. I thought this was interesting so i decided to share. Also I'm sure this fits the rules, but i'm still not positive.
Basically my hair is long as fuck, to the point its almost longer then my shoulders. Which is weird in my case because i cant stand long hair, i love to have it short. So after a week of being annoyed at my hair being long, i asked my grandpa if he can drive me to get a hair cut, he said yes but wanted to pay for it. This is were the problem comes in, I offered my money but he insisted to pay for it himself. No issues except the fact that he wanted to not spend that much, so we headed to Meijers.
Sadly upon arrival we found out after getting there that the haircut was going to cost 12 dollars. My grandpa thought we were going to get it a lot cheaper so he tried bullshitting with the receptionist that he heard they were having a sale. Now here is were things get interesting, I'll start to say that public attention makes me nervous, rising voices, starting to fight, etc. The receptionist said "We NEVER had a sale so i don't know where you're getting sir, the kid is young, not old and balding like you so take it or leave it."
My grandpa had a weak laugh thinking it was a joke and decided to pay. After going to my seat the receptionist asked how i wanted my hair, I answered "Much more shorter then it is, military style." She then lifted up one of my hair strands and said "Thats not a answer kid, your in 8th grade i'm sure, its easy to give me a bit more information." (I'm in college by the way) So pissed off a little i replied "Well i don't go to beauty school so how will i know?" To my surprise she said "Its not that fucking hard." My grandpa pulled me aside and said "Lets get out of here, this lady is just bullshitting with us." I guess she heard him because she shouted "I'm pissed of enough that I have to deal with a kid with low IQ and now i have to deal with THIS!?"
My grandpa replied "Well your just being a fat whoreish bitch, its a haircut not rocket science." And we stormed out, worst of all there were little kids in that place glaring at us as we left.
All my way home i heard my grandpa complain of how she was bullshitting.
I thought I was going to puke because of all the people in the store staring at me.
My self esteem went down because of her insulting me.
Worst of all I didn't get my haircut. My grandpa was also running around the house screaming about that receptionist. (hes bi polar) Such a lousy day because of a trip to get my haircut.
I guess the moral of this story would be: Don't bring parents with you to social places, especially if they are bi polar.

Pics. Now.
hahahahahaha.
maybe you're just being a fat whoreish bitch.
in unrelated news, firefox says that whoreish is an actual word.
You have an awesome grandpa.
Also how much more descriptive can you get with military style?
[editline]22nd March 2011[/editline]
Also welcome to the forums etc. etc.
What a shit person that receptionist was, though trying to get a discount over a price of 12 dollars is a bit stupid.
[editline]22nd March 2011[/editline]
Oh and military style sure was descriptive enough IMO.
You're not in college.
Glorious first post, fine sir.

Because it is.
Sounds like everyone in this scenario was retarded.
How can you not get any more descriptive than military style?
Hah, what a cunt.
Your grandpa sounds awesome :v:
Your Grandpa sounds like bad ass.
Your grandpa seems pretty fucking awesome.
your grandpa
This thread requires MS Paint imagery.
A kick-ass grandpa. OP, get some balls.
Your grandpa is a badass.
$12 is average, I think
maybe a little more pricey
The people who were staring at you, they knew it was your fault. It's always your fault. Everything was fine until you got there. You ruined the mood. You ruin everything. Maybe you should just go back to your room and never come out again.
buzzcuts/military are stupid, wish i never got mine.

I already started, thats why i'm on Facepunch.
OP is a cool guy, but definetly still needs a haircut. Go somewhere else, maybe by yourself this time.
go over there and fuck their shit up
Your Gramps is right and you should be proud of him acting like a man. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Nice first post. Welcome to the forums.
Anyways, it's understandable that your grandfather is bipolar, but the receptionist is also the one being a huge jerk too.
Also 12 dollars is actually on the low-end for a hair cut.
EDIT: I was hoping that the barber would have cut a penis shape into your hair since that's where I thought it was going to go after your grampa pissed her off.
Smells like trolls in here.
Fat whorish cunt trolls.
What a wonderful way to make you and your store look good.
I would've told her straight to her face to fuck off, I wouldn't let someone like her get off so easily.

My grandpa is a dick :/
Bad ass grandpa, atleast he won't stand for that bullshit. I laughed at the fact that hair cut lady thought you were in 8th grade, while you being in college. I guess many people in college don't get haircuts with their grandfather.
Your grandpa s awesome.
