• Possible video card issue?

Last night, I was playing a game when things started fucking up. Both of my screens went black mostly (I have dual monitors), but about the top 1/4 still showed what I had running, flickering white/black. Here is a rough mockup if that doesn't make sense: [img_thumb]http://filedump.d2k5.com/f/d/pfXZKSS6wSGD5S3TbsB7/file/mockup.png[/img_thumb] First thing I did was reboot. I tried the game again, same error. When it happens, I cannot interact with anything. No mouse, alt+f4 does nothing, etc. However, I could occasionally hear little bits of my music. It was as if it was just lagging extremely badly. I tried 2 other games, and I get the same thing. The only way to stop it that I can see is rebooting. It happens right away when I try to play Minecraft or WoW, and for some reason I can play TF2 for a while before it happens. So far I have updated my video card drivers, cleaned the dust out of my PC, restarted a dozen times, left it off overnight, the problem is still there. The troubleshooting tool on windows suggested that I might need to update my BIOS. Do you think this is true? So, FP, what are your suggestions? I'd really rather not have to buy a new video card or, even worse, a new PC. To show my gratitude, anyone who is able to correct this without costing me a lot of money will get a $10 gift on steam. (Or minecraft, if you like).
