• Program for burning video files to a CD?

So, I got these video files from my trip to france with my mother and lil' bro. And tomorrow is my mothers birthday, so I thought I'd go put the files on a CD together with some nice parfume. BUT, I can't figure out how to put the video files on a CD, so that the CD is playable on a standard DVD player. Because what I have done right now does not seem to work, my DVD player just ejects the CD after a cuple of seconds. All of the files are MP4 format. Could facepunch link me some programs that does this, you know burn CD's so they can be watched on a DVD player? Or give me a tutorial to how I can do it with standard windows burning tools?
Do you have windows 7? If so I'm sure you put files on a CD you just drag them onto the disc drive and on the left it should say write files to disc, otherwise right click on the drive and write files to disc. There is also a windows DVD maker on windows 7, just type it in search.
That did not work for MP4 files. And I don't have time converting right now. Can someone please help!
