I rather get the real deal than this shit. It's a lot more satisfying to read a gaming magazine in your bed or something.
Battlefield info on steam :v:
The reason people buy magazines are because they are actual physical copies. Reading an e-book/webpage is just not the same as reading an actual book/magazine. There's really no reason to pay for this. If you want digital gaming news, just go to any of the countless websites floating around.
What's the point in paying for PC gaming news on the internet? It's too easy for me to just use Google if I want info on something. At least with real magazines, that gives me some satisfaction.
Guys, it's not just about the information; the content is made of a lot of interactive elements such as moving sliders when comparing images, panoramic views with information nodes(?) on them so you get an actual idea of what the information is about, as well as videos (of course) talking about the game. For $1 I can get several gigs of high-quality, interactive material. I don't understand why everybody's so opposed to this; it's like none of you have tried it. It's not scans of the magazines. It's interactive and I personally thing it's a great initiative towards moving into the increasingly-digital world we live in today.

$0.99 is change I can find down the back of my sofa; I don't see the problem
