Something I finally finished today!
Came out great and the sounds are better than on most of my own recordings.

Comments and criticism is greatly appreciated!
Awesome, a new song by you!
Composition was nice, nothing too overused and pretty original. The intro is great, loved the hybrid picking part.
At some places your tone lacks a bit of clarity, otherwise the sound is pretty good for a home recording.
The visible/audible bass is also a nice touch.
SHOULD I GIVE UP, OR SHOULD I JUST KEEP CHASING CAVEMEN
EVEN IF IT LEEADDSS NOOWHEEEEERRRREEEEE
That's actually how I came up with the name, because I kept hearing the song like that.
love the fingerwork man, real great stuff
the drums on the other hand, you need someone to get that done
they worked, just too machine-like i guess

Yeah, I know. I'd love to have something like the Drumkit From Hell type of plugin, but I don't have the program that could use that plugin.

I use a program called DrumSite. I use the trial version, but it servers the purpose. I export a MIDI track from Guitar Pro and then import it to DrumSite and then it does the work for you. You just need to pick out better sounds for the drums, because the default ones sound like balls.
hmm ill check it out thanks

It's a good program, but it doesn't really allow you to do any complex stuff in terms of sound and such.
Sounds awesome man. I really like it.
Great playing too, wish I could hybrid pick like that.
It can't be prog metal though. It's not 20 minutes long and filled with solos!

Thanks a bunch! I don't really know in which category this falls to, but I thought prog was the closest.
