Just think about space, we don't know squat compared to the 'truth'..
But for some reason I've always thought to myself, maybe our universe is just an atom of an element, of another material and those atoms compose another world which is in a universe which is just an atom of an element.. etc. Which means everything you see around you is made of universes.
And well, life, What's the point? Maybe there is no big picture at all. What if we're just in a dream that we wake up from when we die. (No, not matrix)
Why does anything exist at all?

But think about it, it most likely will never happen.
We live for a short time to even know anything about our universe and lives. Even until our sun blows up 5 billion years from now. Those 5 billion years are considered seconds in how old our universe is going to be?
Oh, could someone explain to me how before the Big Bang.. Time did not even exist. I'm not talking clocks, I'm talking just.. time.
I try not to think too hard about this kind of shit.
Makes me :psyboom:
Why does anything exist?
No reason, really.
Why does anything exist?

So if nothing existed, what the hell happened to make something?
Or was there always something.
Augh, shit.. leaving this thread for a while.
We are all from the nostrils of our greater being
i think it hates me for some reason, seems like everyone got a manual on how to live life but me
indifferent to most of it really.
I don't think I am alive for a reason. I just am.
I believe all the messages we got in The Matrix movie might be actually real, we are blind, slaves, a world was put before us, already planned out, everything is just like they wanted it to be, It's the Matrix effect or something like that I don't know. But I think that might be something to consider.
We're here because we're here.
'Nuff said.
Life? :suicide:
I like taking a laser pointer and pointing it to the sky and thinking that maybe in a few hundred years that ray of light will end up on a star or planet somewhere and I'll know that something I caused spanned the void of space and reached out to another solar system. Maybe it will keep going on and on millions of years after I'm dead and bring light into a corner of the universe that was once dark. I like knowing that something so trivial and insignificant could very well be my greatest achievement.

Whoops, wrong thread.
life is p cool

1) Yes we have.
2) Sorry that I have to repeat this link.
3) The point to life is the small things that exist within it that make you happy or any other observers happy. You have one life, enjoy it. We were the species that decided instead of being a motionless emotionless flower that sat there and reproduced, that we would be the sentient alpha males of Earth. Flowers don't really have a purpose to live, besides providing happiness for other observers.
4) We don't know that yet.

All this mindblowing shit has been through my mind and has no effect now. :buddy:
so did you get any answers?
:v:
we exist to learn
so what if our universe is an atom in a universe which is an atom of another universe and so on?
this universe is our reality
I dont like most philosophy because its useless and a lot think feeling is more important then science
It exists.
I exist.
What more is there to think about? Attaching any sort of reason won't change the fact that I'm here.
The answer is 42
Far out dude...

In my opinion, the existence of life is a highly overrated phenomenon.
