never tried to buy a key from a 3rd party site like this? haves anyone been burned for trying to use it? ( I would never use it for a pre - order game just a one already out a.k.a Fallout 4 and Dying Light? )
I got a War Thunder key from G2A and so far nothing bad has happened but I doubt I'll be buying from them again.
I wouldn't use G2A just because their advertising is super annoying and it's everywhere
CDkeys is def safe, I bought Dying Light and Rainbow Six: Siege, though your key might be late if you order from them, not sure about G2A, you can also get around %10 off coupon from liking their facebook account
I got a War Thunder key from G2A and so far nothing bad has happened but I doubt I'll be buying from them again.
why? did something happen to make you a bit worried?
Never had an issue with G2A. Bought Arkham Knight on it after it got removed from the store (which made the price drop substantially on G2A) and a few of the random bundles. Just be wary that the price they indicate does not include VAT for some regions.
yea one thing that bugs me about G2A is they have many sellers and it feels like a Amazon for CD keys where CD Keys just haves the one site and price so if I do go for G2A should I buy from the Amercian Flag Icon so I don't have to worry/deal with languages/regions?
I've bought a few games from G2A without using G2A Shield and it's been fine, the keys take a while to come through sometimes but it saves a pretty penny. Dying Light, Hotline Miami, Rocket League and I think I bought CSGO there too
I've bought shit tonnes of G2A stuff, they good.
hmmmm I think I will try G2A it's at least $15 cheaoer there for Fallout 4 there is a polish or usa key for $10 difference should I cough up the extra $10 for the usa one or will it be okay for me to get the polish one?
so it does make a difference ( I live in Canada so is Aus English and American flag all okay?)
G2A I've used for a few games, it's been reliable at every purchase so far so I'd say it's clean and good.
Remember that G2A doesn't sell the keys directly, they basically are just a collection of key resellers and they offer security for added price. I don't like them because their prices are pretty much always wrong and don't include the "G2A shield" as well as tax or fees which can increase the price a lot.

I don't think G2A includes it in purchases because it isn't technically the one selling it. Could be talking out my ass since I don't live in the EU though. As far as people getting burned using it, yes it has happened. Does it happen often enough that you should care? No not really. Key recalls that happen in bulk from sites like G2A usually make major news, i.e. the Far Cry 4 debacle. If you note, using the shield basically saved the buyers from being out ~60 bucks or however much. That's the takeaway: always cover your purchases even if it's an extra dollar or two. Cheap guaranteed insurance is better than going in fingers crossed. Finally, as for personal experience, I've purchased over 10 games from Kinguin, like 3 or 4 games from G2A, and multiple other single purchases from other third party retailers. I've never been burned once and there was never a recall regarding the keys.
I prefer kinguin honestly. The site is easier and they have conglomeration
Have bought quite a few games from CD keys with no problem and at pretty good prices. Would recommend.
Use G2A.com all the time. Recently bought Alien: Isolation for £7 when Steam was selling it for £32. This is why I use G2A.
I've bought 2 copies of GTAV and 1 copy of GTAIV off G2A. Only had one issue with GTAIV though (multiplayer key didn't work), I contacted support and it was fixed pretty fast.
How exactly do these sites "get away" with such price cuts?
How exactly do these sites "get away" with such price cuts?
I think CD keys buys them in country's where the prices are less inflated, like eastern europe etc. They probably also have a very small profit margin. Both are legit, I've bought £100 worth of stuff from CD keys where it probably would've cost me £250+ from Steam or Origin and the only issue I've had is where I had to wait 2 hours for a key once.
I've gone through G2A plenty of times and I haven't got burned on it. There is also the shield option for the extra $2 for a little piece of mind. I hear that their support is fucking terrible. Something akin to talking to a potato while huffing paint thinner. There was already one case where a publisher made a bulk amount of CD keys invalid. So this fucked a lot of people out, but the ones who had insurance where compensated on their purchase.
How exactly do these sites "get away" with such price cuts?
Thing is, AAA PC games have always been sold at 40-45$ here because that is the highest competitive price point, if you ask for more people will just pirate it. And that includes the markup by the store so the price the games are sold to resellers are even lower. So they basically buy boxed copies which were meant for Eastern European markets, scan the keys, destroy the discs, and make very little profit on each sale.
I've never used G2A but CD keys i use all the time had no problems apart from one time when I bought the elder scrolls online, I got the game played for about 2 days and then got an email from zenimax saying my key is not legit and they deleted my account, so I emailed CDkeys and they responded really fast and refunded my monies
Both are fine, cdkeys for sure - I've bought tonnes of stuff from them
Only issue I have with G2A is 'hidden costs' you don't see until you're ready to pay for it (Like VAT and PayPal fee). Otherwise I have had no problems with then, and still have the games I bought.
I've bought a few games from G2A without using G2A Shield and it's been fine, the keys take a while to come through sometimes but it saves a pretty penny. G2A is fine, I got Just Cause 3 and Fallout 4 from them. HOWEVER be careful that you don't enter their dumb "G2A Shield" subscription. I would recommend getting shield on INDIVIDUAL PURCHASES since it's no more than sales tax so that if anything goes wrong with the key you can get a refund/another key.
The thing about G2A is that I know plenty of people who've gotten fucked over, but I never have. Basically, I wouldn't spend more than you're comfortable with losing on the site. I've bought a ton of shit off the site, but it's really shady and people definitely have been given used keys.
I've purchased a ton of keys off G2A and for almost a decade, and they've all worked. Their support's nice too, so if there's an issue it's usually answered within a night.
