• $900-1000 PC build

So, recently I've been able to finally finance a desktop PC, and I've been researching a lot about individual parts in comparison to others, etc. But, I still find that I'm probably not as knowledgeable as some of the people on here in terms of technology, so I'd like to ask for some help on my build. I have it planned out for the most part, but I'd really like some criticism or validation that it would all work together. Also I'm looking at potentially going for a SLI in the near future, probably within the month, so if my build isn't adequate or prepared for that please tell me. Very nice first build. Though I wouldn't SLI so early. Instead of getting two GTX 460s, get one 470 or 5870. Also you are gonna need a case and an OS.
Pretty sure you need a case, what do you have currently?
Currently running on a laptop, which is why I want to upgrade so I can play some games without stuttering and overheating. I already have a case though, the Armor mx+. Windows 7 OS I also have available to me, and my monitor is going to be a samsung that I'm buying from a local store. Also I was potentially looking at a 5870, but for price to performance ratio a sli performs better than a single 5870 (which I can't order any way since I only have enough for the build I posted at the moment).
I'll throw in the obligatory "Get the Spinpoint F3" comment. Its cheaper and has similar performance. Also, I'd recommend this motherboard over yours: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131621
