:aaaaa:
:psypop:
Can't wait to think with portals again
Oh. Mah. GAWD. :gizz:
Should the portals be different coloured indicating the other players portal? Like, red green is the other players whilst blue orange is yours?
This means it will show some references of what happened to the world after the Half-Life series.
Multiplayer. Holy Christ.
This sounds like the lego alpha team
Should the portals be different coloured indicating the other players portal? Like, red green is the other players whilst blue orange is yours?
In coop, one person shoots the orange portal and the other person shoots the blue portal.
Weighted Storage balls? WEIGHTED COMPANION BALL![/caps] *jizz*
Actually I'm looking forward to seeing this "Paint" thing they're talking about. Maybe Valve have finally mastered liquid physics?
In coop, one person shoots the orange portal and the other person shoots the blue portal.
- Each player will have a portal gun (yes, four portals at once) with either player able to use the other's portal when needed Note the blatantly obvious indication of 2 portals per player.
Actually I'm looking forward to seeing this "Paint" thing they're talking about. Maybe Valve have finally mastered liquid physics?
Nah, It'll probably be like the paint decals of HL2 etc.
I like the idea of the Picture-in-Picture for online co-op. It'll help out immensely.
I will buy this.
Nah, It'll probably be like the paint decals of HL2 etc.
But if the paint "reacts to portal physics" it suggests you'll be able to move the paint around to rech other places.
- Portal 2 takes place well after the events in Half-Life 2
Okay, plausible.
- Portal 2 takes place hundreds of years after the events in Portal
Wait, what?!
"Weighted Balls" :3
Wait, what?!
stasis, bro. But I wonder how the combine didn't notice it? [editline]01:00PM[/editline]
chell in stasis, bro. But I wonder how the combine didn't notice it?

"Weighted Balls" :3
Edit Ok that was a gay joke ffff.
If Portal takes place so long after Half-Life 2, then do you think we'll be able to figure out what happens in Ep3?
If Portal takes place so long after Half-Life 2, then do you think we'll be able to figure out what happens in Ep3?
Mag scans tell us no. Valve is gonna contain the HL story. But I bet they will tease us with something slightly.
Weighted Storage balls? WEIGHTED COMPANION BALL![/caps] *jizz*
Actually, weighted storage balls are already in a few of the Advanced Portal 1 maps.
All the paint and stuff sounds like it's overcomplicating the concept to me
I agree, actually. Somehow it already feels way too cluttered.
Portal 2 takes place hundreds of years after the events in Portal Wait waaahh? How is Chell still alive
Pre order soon, please?
But I wonder how the combine didn't notice it?
Well remember, Aperture plays a huge role in Episode Three in one way or another, and whatever technology is on Borealis is of immense power. It's not unlikely that the Enrichment Center(s) are highly fortified and not worth bothering with due to having next to zero actual life inside. The Combine obviously already have their own forms of advanced AI and trans-dimensional travel, so no need to bother with stealing Aperture's. Just let those kooky robots rust away by themselves.
Set after the events of Half Life 2, epic! Some insight to what the world's like after the combine perhaps? (And who won!). Though to be honest I doubt if there is any actual noticeable references to the HL world and if so, very subtle. Still... Can't wait.
