god damn socialist pigs meddling with our free market!
By July 2014 customers will also be given the option to shop around for the best deal and sign up for a separate mobile contract using their existing number when going abroad.
That's pretty sweet!
If you paying thousands of pounds for data, why don't you have an unlimited plan?
Would be nice if phone calls and texts could be the same price to any location in the EU.

They've been working on something like this since 2008 if I remember correctly.
this is paving the way for a single market for mobile networks across the eu
Here in Holland you used to get unlimited 3G data for 30 euro a month Now you pay 30 for 1GB.. Glad my iPhone contract is 2 years long  Another year of unlimited power
Take that EU haters!
Excellent news.
Here in Holland you used to get unlimited 3G data for 30 euro a month Now you pay 30 for 1GB..
I got a contract with some small carrier in my country, I pay 0 euro for 5 GB. Whatever exceeds that is also free, but throttled to low speeds. Oh, and my monthly plan is also 0 euro. I only pay what I consume. Gotta love real competition.
59p for ONE MEGABYTE, are you fucking having a laugh? It costs them virtually nothing for both 3G and SMS, so why not force it down to ACCURATE costs instead like Ofcom are trying to do.
