I'm offering a computer building course for my private business in town, and the only stuff I can ever think about computers lately, (Since I'm so excited to build my personal build) is expensive, top of the line build hardware.
What I'm asking for is:
What parts list should I get for a lower end, cheaper, pictures and internet home computer course? I want it to be around $500.00 if possible.
I was thinking I wanted it to be a computer result somewhat like this.
Do you need an OS or monitor? I can get you a decent $350 (if there is no OS and stuff).
Better yet, I can do one for $210. It should browse the internet fine, even play Source games on low. I made it a while ago for my school. Let me see if I can make it a bit better.

Changed a Celeron Dual Core to a Core 2 Duo, now costs $281. It's low on RAM, might want to replace it with a 2gb stick, since the barebones can only support one stick. Might be better to change it to a "real" computer, since the motherboard on the barebone is kind of sucky, but you can't get much cheaper than this. Hard drive is also rather tiny.
Anyways, list:
Case/Mobo: Foxconn R10-G3 Supports 65W for Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo processors Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel G31 Intel GMA 3100 Barebone

PSU is in the barebones :v:
You can replace the RAM in mine with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231203
$291 Ten bucks for twice the RAM isn't bad. But yours is probably a far better value. For one thing, you have a decent non-integrated GPU. But you don't really need a decent GPU for web browsing, so you can knock the GPU out of your build since the motherboard has an integrated one. I jut like barebones systems because they can fit anywhere and are quiet and cheap.
So 10 more bucks for 4 GBs of RAM? Neat (link doesn't work for me on school's server). Also I somewhat agree with your opinion on the 4650. OP will be fine with onboard graphics, but what if OP wanted to watch some Youtube videos on HD or a little bit of CS:S? Then I would suggest the 4650, especially since it is pretty cheap with a rebate. Well just get this OP: if you want a GPU, get the 4650 since it outperforms all other cards in the >$50 range.
No I mean for 2gbs on my machine over 1.
No I mean for 2gbs on my machine over 1.
Oh. Our builds are similar. I guess it's up to OP. I would choose yours if he doesn't want a dedicated card and mine if he does. Also I would get my HDD that I posted since it is twice the space for only a little more (I think it was only $3 more).

This is pretty much what I was thinking. OP, listen to this guy.
