"in a bit of a flap" says government official

“It probably flew,” revealed Jones. “It could probably fly over the gates and the security – although Larry [the Downing Street cat] was nowhere to be seen, terrible eh?” Jones said Downing Street staff, although having received no training for heron situations, dealt with the bird calmly and professionally.
“When I came back up the street the heron was in the door already, standing in the corner,” he said. “Staff were just being very quiet round it, trying not to disturb it and making sure no one was thumping around. Then, with a flap of its wings, it went on top of the door, had a peek outside, then it went hop-hopping away.”
Jones suspects the bird may have been taking refuge from an overly-aggressive crow spotted outside of the building, because “[the heron] was in a bit of a flap”.
“It didn’t lose any deposits on the floor though,” he added.

This is so British
This is so British
I remember one time when I used LSD, I dropped twice because I was too impatient in waiting for the first tabs to hit.
Anyway I spent all night and into the morning with a five second clip of "Blue Jay Way" on vivid repeat in my head, reading Wikipedia articles about pigeons, and thinking "Wow, this must be what it's like to be British"
Saw the asbo in St. Jame's Park this afternoon, shifty fucker.
David Cameron clearly didn't repost this
i am a heron. i haev a long neck and i pick fish out of the water w/ my beak. if you dont repost this comment on 10 other pages i will fly into your kitchen tonight and make a mess of your pots and pans
this never would have happened if UKIP were voted in

What is this from?

Nah, obviously was taken in under a hijab in attempt to take out Britain. Nige gave you all your chance, but you chose Islam.
Since the moment I read this title, I knew it's Britain.

The address of the Prime Minister's residence is a pretty big give-away.
Herons are amazingly majestic when they fly.
Even when they just stand stock still in the water

We all know this is the BBC's representation of Mr.Cameron before he was even Prime Minister.

Would explain why Tory politicians tend (tended?) to be fat.

Is there a 10 Downing Street outside of Britain?
I barely live a year in Britain, you expect me to figure out all the addresses? I'm not even sure if Queen resides in Buckinham palace.
I am only aware of that I live on Grove street :v:

10th Downing is pretty world famous. I know for damn sure I can ask basically anyone on the street here if they know what it is, and they'll answer correctly. Basically the same as the white house, just slightly less symbolic.
[sp]To be honest, though, Denmark is a bit anglophillic, ever since 1945...[/sp]

I'm from Estonia, and the best they know here is that there's Queen and Kate Middleton married.
