Hey guys, just finished a new original, with influences from Porter Robinson & Nick Romero, just wanted your comments & criticism on it. I tried mastering it as well, and I still don't know how it ended up.

Here's my thoughts :
The beginning was really amateur sounding, it felt quite sample based too.
The drop however, was fucking incredibly well made, I thought the synths had this depthy feel to them that just kicked dirt in my dislikes face and buried it in dog shit.
I thought it was fucking fantastic, great work on it.

FUCKFUCKFUCK
If it was not for that kick, which I honestly think it shouldn't be that subltle and "dry", and some of the claps which as Madman said seem pretty amateur sounding, this song is more than great. Your synths are not from this world, really. Beautiful.
Thanks guys, I'll change the kicks and the clap samples, and thank you!

Why is it being sample based a bad thing?
Why is it being sample based a bad thing?
Well it lacked a melody progression, making it sound really repetitive
Ah, it seems I was tricked.
The majority of the sounds within the drop have been resampled from the synth stem of one of those electro house packs, I've heard those exact synths in different songs.
I hate it when people do that, it just makes you look incredibly lazy. Just put in more effort into your synths and you can be just as good as the creators of those loop thingies, you know?

Okay, I'll admit, I did sample parts of the drop synths, just because I was lazy, but I also did it because I had another drop created but Massive crashed and FL Studio and I got the shits because I spent ages on it.

Ok, well, at least you're honest about it. In fact, I'm fed up of people crediting people that don't admit that they resampled their drop from a vengeance pack, I've seen at least 20 songs in the top 50 electro house charts that have been resampled, hell I could even tell you which sample it is. I mean, good for you for making it sound good, but it really looks bad on you in the future because people will know you for it, and may have lack of trust in you regarding your creativity. I'm not being nasty, I'm just trying to stop the problem before it grows larger.

Wasn't a vengeance pack though, I paid a good $30 for this one that had these synths, and it's really the only first song I have ever created using drop samples.

Whatever, it's still cheating.
Just remember to be original and create your own sounds, no one goes anywhere with those kinds of samples (apart from Steve Angello(and it was once(lol)))
Nice track man, this is really great. The only thing i should say is, too many Yai wobbles.
Other than that its great! keep it up, you have another follower

I love Yai/Yao/Yaya wobbles.

Well I love them too, but sometimes they are overused.
Every other song i see made by people has the Yai wobble in it, it's just not original anymore.

The vocal wobbles are becoming disliked by many electro house labels, big fish (one of the biggest electro house labels) being one of them.
For some reason they're overused by pretty much every electro house artist.
