In a series of interviews over two weeks, the woman shared a dramatic story about an alleged sexual relationship with Moore in 1992 that led to an abortion when she was 15. During the interviews, she repeatedly pressed Post reporters to give their opinions on the effects that her claims could have on Moore's candidacy if she went public. The Post did not publish an article based on her unsubstantiated account. When Post reporters confronted her with inconsistencies in her story and an Internet posting that raised doubts about her motivations, she insisted that she was not working with any organization that targets journalists. But on Monday morning, Post reporters saw her walking into the New York offices of Project Veritas, an organization that targets the mainstream news media and left-leaning groups. The organization sets up undercover "stings" that involve using false cover stories and covert video recordings meant to expose what the group says is media bias. James O'Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas who was convicted of a misdemeanor in 2010 for using a fake identity to enter a federal building during a previous sting, declined to answer questions about the woman outside the Project Veritas office, a storefront in Mamaroneck, N.Y., on Monday morning shortly after the woman walked inside. "I am not doing an interview right now, so I'm not going to say a word," O'Keefe said.
Lmao Veritas fucked up this time. If you don't know O'Keefe/Veritas they basically send people undercover to places like CNN and try to record people admitting how biased they are etc. But trying that shit at the Washington Post is like 12 year olds trying to outsmart the FBI, and they've ended up 'exposing' the fact that the Post thoroughly fact-checks their shit and can't be easily fooled The Post has taken the highly unusual step of breaking an 'off the record' agreement and secretly recording their meeting with the source, since it was all lies and Veritas was planning to publish their own recordings if WaPo fell for it. Video in the source
Hahahaha the interview was the definition of cringe. You could tell the WaPo journalist was having so much fun. [editline]27th November 2017[/editline] Also, Trump gave money to Project Veritas. Trump is trying to create fake news. Lügenpresse.
My favorite thing about this is the fact the WP article has hidden camera, veritas-style videos of their own, lmao now the turns have tabled
My favourite part is that the WP proved their standing as a fact-checking, responsible journalistic entity. Honestly I'm surprised at how fucking terrible this lady was at faking her story.
Had a feeling this type of thing would happen more often; a rise in false accusations of sexual harassment due to the recent outpouring of stories from the celebrity world. This appeared on Reddit recently: This woman is claiming that Mick Foley, Dave Meltzer, Brian Pillman, Jim Cornette, Paul Heyman, and a bunch of other wrestlers molested her. She apparently hung around the wrestlers when she was as young as 12. Here's the fun part. I think she's full of shit and just trying to get these guys to give her "hush" money to get her to stop crying wolf. She's claimed in the video she was 12. She's been out in public wearing a signboard that says she was 14 when it happened, and on Facebook she's said 15. She can't keep her story straight. This is what we're going to see a sharp increase in; falsified reports, people getting charged/jail time for crimes they didn't commit, etc. All power to those who are telling the truth, but I'm going to remain skeptical on these stories unless there's solid proof.
Project Veritas has fired back with their own video but it's literally just them ambushing a WaPo reporter and having the situation calmly explained to them. Owned libs!!!!
Project Veritas should have been run out of town ages ago but they won't because conservatives are amoral assholes
Unfortunately conservatives will probably call this a victory amongst themselves before quietly moving on to the next thing
A couple weeks from now this will end up in the video section as another great tell all about liberals I can't fathom who the fuck takes this group seriously
Here's where you can submit insider "tips" to these idiots: https://www.projectveritas.com/tips/ Have fun. Would probably take me 5 mins to set up a macro in Pulover's Macro Creator to submit fake tips repeatedly. I've got a tip for them. Just the tip, mind, and only for a minute, if ya catch my meaning.

It shouldn't be lost that we're talking about an attempt to fake a sex assault claim as a way of discrediting real sexual abuse victims. These people are disgusting
It shouldn't be lost that we're talking about an attempt to fake a sex assault claim as a way of discrediting real sexual abuse victims.
Alice Crites, a Post researcher who was looking into Phillips’s background, found a document that strongly reinforced the reporters’ suspicions: a Web page for a fundraising campaign by someone with the same name. It was on the website GoFundMe.com under the name Jaime Phillips. “I’m moving to New York!” the May 29 appeal said. “I’ve accepted a job to work in the conservative media movement to combat the lies and deceipt of the liberal MSM. I’ll be using my skills as a researcher and fact-checker to help our movement. I was laid off from my mortgage job a few months ago and came across the opportunity to change my career path.”
You can't make this shit up. Veritas isn't sending it's best folks.

The response from the PV side is to have a reporter in the washington post describe what an op ed section of a newspaper is. That's it. Also some threads showing proof of connections that PV has to conservative trust funds, koch bros, etc but i'd look into it a little more before taking anything in a twitter thread as fact
It shouldn't be lost that we're talking about an attempt to fake a sex assault claim as a way of discrediting real sexual abuse victims.
