Hey there.
I'm looking for a new monitor, as my current one (LG W2252TE) is slowly dying and it is getting worse day by day.
The new monitor should have a 1920x1080 resolution and doesn't need unnecessary stuff like inbuilt speakers . I'm using this computer mostly for gaming.
I'm living in Germany and the monitor shouldn't cost more than 150€. If there are significant upgrades above that price, I could go up to 200€ with an aching stomach.
The market is super oversaturated by 1920x1080 monitors, in you price range there's not much to choose from, but I don't think you can go wrong really.

I have literally no idea what is considered good in today's times. Is there anything specific to look out for? Or any brands that are considered trash by now?
Take a look through here: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/parts/monitor/#X=0,15235&xcx=0&sort=d9
You can't really judge them by brands, you'll have to read reviews.

1920x1080 is the standard right now. There's also 2560x1440, 4K and ultrawide resolutions (2560x1080, 3840x1440 etc.) but you can't buy these with your budget.
The best monitor that you can get with that budget is the Acer H236HL.
